Having undergone regular medical procedures with specially trained professionals the idea of anyone without such training and/ or experience and sterilising kit truly terrifies me. Aye, I think after a certain point, you're just showing off (and possibly putting yourself at risk in the process). Even if you can guarantee it as safe, I'm sure I'd find a way to cock it up, so I'll be steering clear of that kind of challenge. I just watched that video, it was insane! So much further inside than anything is supposed to go...
I got the 45" just because I use to have a different model. I can insert over half with no problem, and quickly. The other half you have to take your time one inch at a time and turn it slowly so it will make the bends.
