I’m from Cheshire and it was my accent that won the Mrs over, she’s from Kent, I love her accent even though I do take the Mickey out of it, my mates all think she sounds really posh but she’s not

@WillC, is there much difference between Brummie and Black Country?

Probably not to those that don’t live in the areas! But there is a difference! :slightly_smiling_face:

I have previously said Australian particularly spoken by Kylie.

I think it’s the individual makes the voice and accent a turn on

West Country

I was born in Norfolk but now live in Dorset and funnily enough no one seems to mention the Norfolk accent lol. I’m not surprised the old adage about marrying your sister is very believable when u hear that accent.

Definitely the irish accent for me.

Well hello @CJAM01

Glad the welsh was in your list

Irish accents are hot as

Obviously communication is a very important part of being intimate between people, but are there any accents in particular that really get you going? Or just ones that you like to hear and effect that has on you, not necessarily in an erotic way?

And please, no accent shaming! :winking_face_with_tongue:

I remember reading somewhere that a lot of customer care centres were based in Newcastle, as the Geordie accent is considered one of the most calming and friendly ones, so this would ease folk who call up with a complaint.

Only polite for me to start off! Personally, Irish hits the spot in every way if I hear it. The softer Edinburgh type accent from our friends above the border. And as I mentioned in another post, the Welsh one too. These I could listen to all day, let alone what it would do to me if the chat got a bit naughty! I’d melt like butter…

Originally from the Midlands, I do still have a soft spot for accents from around that area, even though there is a wide range to choose from! Moving South, I do hear a lot of people who speak with RP, which can trigger a few things in me as well.

Quite like, although some may find it abrasive, the New York accent as well. And then that leads me to foreigners speaking English such as Italians or Spanish…!

Oh no, too many to choose from!:man_facepalming:t3:

I have a thing for accents as well! Manchester accent is particularly sexy. I also love Yorkshire accent, and southern, bournemouth way. I wouldn’t say West midlands is sexy! but people here are generally very warm and friendly and that make people more attractive in general. X

Got a few friends in Manchester, and I do like this, though I think it’s more their turns of phrase that make me laugh… the Liverpool accent is probably a little sexier for me!

A fine Northern accent also hits the spot, like Yorkshire! I knew I’d miss loads…

And for me, whenever I hear any one from the Midlands, it makes me think of (and miss!) home… :face_holding_back_tears:

Though as my queen is there, I do get to hear it more regularly over the past year! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

How to tell a Brummie from a Black Comutry accent…If they say “Yers” instead of years they’re Brummie, if they say “Yeeeers” they’re Black Country!

Thanks for adding my post to this existing one @MsSubExperimenter ! I did search “accents” before I posted it, but obviously didn’t scroll down far enough to find this one. :man_facepalming:t3::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
