The friends list was a legacy even for the old forum. Once they ditched Private Chat a number of years back (too messy to moderate) it really had no clear purpose. You could sort of use it to jump to people’s profiles and see their latest posts and reviews, but it was a bit of a fudge.

They’ve still got to join up some stuff, so I’m looking forward to seeing how they do that, but until then the Search on this new place is brilliant. If you want to look for any members posts you can put an @ and their username (@Happychappy85) into the Search box and it’ll find everything (and you can order it too, and lots of other little tricks when you get used to it
