An Englishman in disguise!

I can’t say as I’m familiar but that’s nothing Google can’t fix

I use the kitchen to relax I find cooking an inspiration and the perfect time to sort through my thoughts and organise the rest of the work day.

It’s funny how one room becomes our “zen”.

Looking at the street outside from the bedroom window, does it everytime for me.

Does it have the view of the Seven Estuary? I know what a beautiful vista can do for the spirit.

Unfortunately not, buf I’m surprised you’re familiar. My grandparents’ home (now my mother’s) overlooks Wales and the estuary, ans my bedroom was front-facing there too. Many an evening spent watching the ships and cranes in the port.

If you’d just said Hairy Bikers I’d have been right with you. I love them, I think Gordon just feels familiar for me. Sometimes you have to rule with a big heart and an iron fist

I’ve traveled the length and breadth of the UK over many years, a lot by just walking. It’s allowed me to see many a interesting sights from the dunes of Cornwall to wind swept cliffs of the Shetland Islands the green fields of Ireland and Northern Ireland too to the flat wetlands of Norfolk and everything in between. I’ve also roamed the Netherlands and Spain. But there’s something special about this little isle we call home. Wales was a destination of my childhood the south of my later teens

An iron hand says the switch with a big heart for sir. And a meal to tantalise the tastebuds.

I know exactly what you mean. We wanf to explore Scotland and Ireland (both North and Republic of) as well and yet, as I found myself on the coast of Bugibba, Malta once, I realised that it’s lovely, but there really is no place like home. Home brings a sense of peace and security, and being away from it can bring feelings of anxiety, especially if you have responsibilities related to your work.

A big heart generally, sir. It’s in their best interests, isn’t it?
