I didn’t start solo anal stuff until I got my own place and I know I had a sort of fascination beforehand that I never really explored though I did do a little fingering and even some makeshift stuff like the handle of a razor but I was scared of something getting up and having to deal with being one of those ER stories.

Me and the Mrs have a very active healthy relationship, which includes anal play on both accounts. Once a week, we engage in BDSM where she’ll abuse me anally. In the states, anal is very common among the younger generation because, as much as anything, it is used as birth control due to many of the younger crowd not being on birth control anymore. I have no statistics on this, just anecdotal evidence, but I think if you took a pole, you would find my statement is accurate.

I think yes, no, maybe? What do you define as a “younger generation”? No two people are the same, in any generation. We’re 39 and 37 but my hushand isn’t into being anally stimulated and I just can’t wrap my head around pegging guys - to me it seems like a very Dominant thing to do, and I’m not a Dominant woman.

I think there have been changing attitudes and an acceptance that it is something everyone can do and enjoy! I recall some hints when I was younger than is was going that way but the Lads Magazines of the late 90’s probably helped a lot with that as we understood more about what was to be gained for men and women and there is no doubt that the internet and easier access to porn has made people more liberal in their views - it’s maybe just my personal feelings and experience of it but it does feel that way!

Husband and I both late to mid 30s I enjoy anal but only occasionally he on the other hand would go for anal on himself as much as possible but usually ends up monthly.
I think its partly generational but also its so much more accessible, the range of toys and lube available is now huge and its much more widely known about how good it feels.
People are much more open to discussion on sex now too.
