Can confirm it’s my anniversary today and first year with no discount email
Update - customer care replied with a one use 40% off code
I used that, and all of my points and my order still came to over £90 its going to be a fun night
Apparently there is a “limit” so to speak to what they will allow you to use
I recently made two orders over £100 /and that’s after 40%off and noticed today I did not have the email AGAIN for the OH’s anniversary last month so I contacted live chat and was told because my last three orders used 40% off codes that I could not use one until my birthday
1 last years birthday discount
2 in June an anniversary code that I never got in april
3 one in July I got because Lovehoney had 4 attempts at getting me a glass g spot dildo that wasn’t going to cut me up
I can understand where they are coming from but still a bit miff about it because in theory I have only actually had 1 because I feel like just the discount wasn’t very good compensation for almost a month of messing about with an item that I never got to use
Oh well I guess I will be using the unlimited discount for 25% then

I’m slighyly confused, if you had an anniversary discount in June (albeit late from April!) why would you have another one now? I thought per account, though you can list multiple anniversaries, it’s one Birthday discount and one primary anniversary discount a year. Am I wrong about this?
Anyone received an anniversary discount recently? It’s not my anniversary until end of this week, haven’t received anything yet
I just got birthday one. That’s not until next week. Try looking in junk.
If not, email them as they were great help with my anniversary one when missed.
Chatbot on the main website says this;
Please be advised that Lovehoney account holders will receive birthday discounts at their registered email address 3 times: 10 days before, 5 days before, and one final time on the day of. Please click on the link in the email to automatically add the discount to your basket. If you cannot see the email in your inbox, please check your spam.
Note that you do not have to use the discount on your actual birthday however you will need to have had your account with us for at least 14 days in order to be eligible for a birthday discount.
My birthday is in 6 days but I haven’t received the 1st one yet.

That’s a shame you never received anything @ghostonghost, i did get a birthday one a few months ago but nothing yet for anniversary. Maybe contact them if there is something you are thinking of ordering as it’s not fair for you to miss out.
Not holding out too much hope myself for an anniversary discount as got no discount treat for my birthday
I continued the chat with an agent and they sent me a 20% off code.
These exemptions apply. I asked about the 40% discount mentioned elsewhere in the forum and they said that all memberships changed in February and the discount is now 20% for everyone.
Hope that helps. I’m assuming it will be the same for anniversaries too.

Hm, I could have sworn @Peitho and @Kitty-Cat01 used theirs since then and got the 40% off, honestly seems a toss-up depending on the rep you get
They really need to streamline things, it’s just getting ridiculous at this point
***Just realized you meant for the birthday, but again I think others have gotten more for their birthdays since then
I think customer care are trying not to get too complicated with people. The loyalty/membership scheme did change for everyone in February but those with Unlimited Membership prior to that have retained certain benefits. If someone messages customer care and their account isn’t flagged for unlimited then it is probably easier to say that all accounts have changed.
The number of unlimited members compared to non unlimited members on the forum is pretty high, so it is likely that a lot of people here will get higher discounts than LH are offering now.
@k8xxx - If you get the 25% off £40 you are an unlimited member and will still get the 40% discount. It is a scheme that they no longer run but are honouring for customers that had it and continue to qualify.
I had to contact live chat for a code as I’ve never pre or post website change recieved the discount emails.
I never knew this was still a thing, I thought ALL member discounts were scrapped and I’ve just been paying full whack for weeks
@Blonde_Bunny - Talk to @Lovehoney_Brenna ! Some of the accounts didn’t switch over properly but if you’ve tried the UNLIMITED25OFF40 code and it’s not worked then your account didn’t switch.
After using it once mine just continued to know it was an unlimited account and applies it automatically (unless you override it with a Birthday or Anniversary discount). I think you continue to qualify as long as you spend £50 a year, might be a slightly different figure, I’m a tad over that!

It’s a little confusing when folks are commenting in the forum and there’s nothing on the website to clarify, especially when there is still mention of and Unlimited VIP loyalty scheme. I think the wording needs a tad more clarity
