I remember that! Didn’t someone else also present it? A similar show was On Safari with Chrostopher Biggins and Gillian Taylforth!

I used to watch Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow with my mum on weekends. Even though it’s aimed at kids, it still had things that adults could chuckle at. My favourite parts were the wacky games like the don’t laugh challenge, the scary attic one and the infamous BOGIES!

However, I always felt bad for the people who had to clean that house up after the kids and presenters trashed it each week. :scream:

@Ned_Kelly3 i remember Pipkins! Old Mr Pipkin died and they had Wayne and Bertha as presenters, both people of colour, which in hindsight was pretty rare for the 70`s. Hartley was a bit scabby! Topov the slightly psychotic monkey and was it Octavia the pig with the Brummie accent?

Used to love being off school ill…having a tiny amount of lucozade (which back then came in a glass bottle with orange cellophane) and watching armchair thriller in the afternoons…not exactly childrens tv but loved it…

@CurvyJilly loved it, plus learned more from watching the school programmes that were on during the morning than actually going to school! I remember my sister getting chickenpox and having 2 weeks off, then my brother, so i was getting him to breathe on me to try and catch it too…my persistence paid off! Isn’t it strange that Lucozade was seen as medicinal in those days, when it’s basically pop! Wasn’t the neck of the bottle either ribbed or nobbled too?
