Yes it was and the slogan used to be:

“Lucozade…Aids Recovery”

What a treat it was to get a small glass of it though?

@CurvyJilly definitely, it made you feel better! I remember the Alpine pop man delivering to the door from the back of a flat bed lorry, they had rib necked bottles too! Corona had nobbled necks!

@woodstock2 used to love that for Susan Stranks and Jenny Hanley! :yum: I remember the Brian May lookalike Mick Robertson too! It was the cool kids version of Blue Peter!

Do you remember Susan strands with itsy and bitsy the spiders

@woodstock2 definitely Susan Stranks was always braless, and apparently cold!

I was far too young in those days to notice that- but I do remember she was very pretty

Here’s a few for the teenagers…

Four Feather Falls
Torchy the Battery Boy
Supercar
Fireball XL5

…all Gerry Anderson’s work, those. What else? Oh yes:

Bill and Ben (Weed was really alarming - used to terrify me!)
Deputy Dawg (“Dagnabbit, Musky!”)

@PleasureDrone i grew up on Gerry Anderson, love everything from Fireball XL-5 onwards! Bit of triv…Russel Crowe’s ex father in law sang the theme tune. also The Spectrum who did the Captain Scarlet theme tune had Keith Forsey as a member, he produced Billy Idol’s Rebell Yell album, wrote Don’t You Forget About Me for Simple Minds and What a Feeling for Flashdance movie!
As for Bill and Ben…anyone remember Pogles Wood?
@Chosen-one don’t forget Chigley with Trumpton and Camberwick Green!
@Floating_Fun_Guy remember The Wombles and all the hit singles they had!
