Seeing that the “When did you last have sex” thread has been temporarily closed for rule breaking around posting of erotic content, I am generally confused about what is considered too much by the mods.
I enjoy this thread as well as “when did you last masturbate” thread and many of the posts are what many would consider “explicit” outside of the context of a sex related forum. Saying this, I’m an confused as to what is considered “too graphic” or “too erotic” and in violation of the forum rules. It’s challenging to discuss sexual experiences without some explicit detail as it’s an explicit topic in general conversation. @Lovehoney_Brenna could you clarify how you and the mods evaluate posts in these and other threads as “too graphic” or as “erotica”. Sorry if you’ve been asked this many times before however I’m a bit confused and genuinely don’t want to see these and similar threads closed down.

I find a few of the topics to be just a vessel for salaciousness or downright bragging and not really helpful to members in any way shape or form other than to get off on. Do we really need to know when someone last had a wank, sex or how big their cock is?
The fact that Brenna often has to censor some posts in those categories speaks for itself. I am certainly no prude as anyone who knows me would tell you, but those topics are very samey and not at all interesting to me.
It’s often the words that surround the description that end up making a post too graphic. Here’s an example from one of our previous mods: (caution rule breaking content used as an example)

When you’ve written a post, it’s handy to think “Why have I written it this way?”. If the answer is any variation of: “It sounds sexier this way”, “It turns me on more when written this way”, or “I want others to be aroused by my post” - then the post is almost certainly going to break the rules.
Words like: Throbbing, Gaping, Dripping, Twitching, Soaking etc are generally not needed when explaining, and have been added as ‘sexy flavourings’ to the post. Which I’m sure would be great on a site for sharing erotica and titillating stories - however, this is not the place for them.
It depends on how it’s being used. Some users use them as a “ lifestyle” choice wearing one like crotchless knickers or sexy underwear under everyday wear so commenting thus to me isn’t an issue, but mentioning use during current masturbation or sex session does break the rules.
