Since that other thread has gotten into the morality and politics, I'll stay here to answer the aesthetics question: I think uncut is nicer to look at, more fun to play with, and definitely definitely easier to give head to. I hope someday they'll come up with the technology to make a cyberskin dildo with a functional foreskin. I'd probably never stop playing with it.
I prefer uncut, but I've been with a couple of guys who couldn't retract theirs due to a tight foreskin and that wasn't ideal. So I like uncut, but retractable, which is how they should be for health reasons too. =)
Uncut is easier to stroke and give head to, but my partner is cut (medical reasons) so I learnt to cope with that. Lube does help a lot and after some practice it does not matter that much. Plus for me the most important thing is the guy not just his penis. The penis is just about practice and getting used to it, really.

The dildo idea is certainly an interesting one! I had no idea some women find it a turn on and kind of assumed they probably preferred circumcised penises as obviously you can see more. I do love my foreskin. It's fairly long so I can really enjoy the sensation of having the head completely covered and having the foreskin very slowly rolled right back to completely expose it. It's a fantastic sensation and I often get my girlfriend to do this when she's playing with it.
I've not experienced a man who's cut, but I will tell you this: I have an incredibly sensitive gag reflex, and it and my OH's foreskin do not get on well with each other.

This is very true. It's no different than finding a particular skin tone or breast size particularly attractive. Unless it rises to the level of a fetish, most people aren't going to use that as their dating criteria. But after I'd experienced my first intact cock, I started seeing cut ones differently. I know how they would look 'in the wild' so to speak.

I agree it's about practice - but I think you have to practice a bit with every new partner regardless of whether they are cut or not; everybody likes different things don't they?
Personally, I'm not fussed either which way. I've encountered both (was about to say "I've come across both", which would be true but a slightly slutty pun!) and whilst there are obviously differences, I can't honestly say I have a preference. I can't feel any difference at all during penetrative sex, can anyone else?

I heard that the foreskin can help with the movement inside vagina, but when you are using condoms you would not notice any difference, I guess so I cannot say how true it is or if the woman feels any difference, or if its easier for uncut man with the foreskin to trust. My partner cannot comment on the second, as he had to have his removed so he could actually get erect before starting his sexual life.
And yes, you need to practice with new partner, but at first I found bit harder to use my hand on cut penis as I used to use the foreskin to help the movement. But bit of lube solves this.
Its been so long since i experienced an 'uncut' penis that i dont really remember if it was any easier. My partner had his removed and i much prefer cut penises for many reasons.
Although my partner says he's probably not as sensitive down below due to having his foreskin removed and having his penis continuously rubbed while wearing underwear etc... I dunno if this is the case for other guys.

I'm the opposite to most of you... I've only ever been with guys that have been cut! So, physically I have nothing to compare to, but I love the visual of a cut guy, compared to uncut in porn or whatever.
I have a detached frenulum (prepuce) so whilst being uncut my foreskin recedes completely when erect making me look 'cut'. It causes me no problems whatsoever and I like the cut appearance while retaining all the sensitivity of an uncut penis.
