Just wondering if anyone has tried a range of the materials here can give an opinion on how they all feel?
I'm considering a 'realistic feel'/cyberskin dildo but would like to hear exactly how it compares to others.. I don't want something that is too hard and plasticy - as real feeling as possible would be best
Any opinions on the feeling/smell/etc of the following would be great: Jelly rubber, PVC, 'realistic feel', rubber, silicone, skin safe rubber.

Sorry I can't help you with this either. I'm a glass girl, love the feel of it. Feels and looks amazing. Temprature play. I don't think I'd ever go back to using the 'realistic feels' again after glass. xx

But the 'real feel' one I personally think feels the most realistic is the ones made of fanta flesh :) I think they are on here under 'Real Feel' then called no. 9, no. 7 or whatever!
If I were you I'd also take the safety of material into consideration aswell.
Glass and silicone are the materials for me.

the ones that are supposed to feel like real skin do often require special maintenence after use i have one made out of Nature Skin a brand not sold by lovehoney it feels just like baby soft skin after using it you need to wash it then apply a talc/renewing powder that came with it to keep it in good condition or the realistic skin goes tacky becase of that i don't use it often
i have a realistic vibe made out of jelly rubber and that material often comes with a distinct smell that does fade and it can have phthalates in, rubber is fine it can be porous but i don't really like the feeling as much as i do the smoothness of jelly and skin safe rubber
I tend to stay clear of anything other than ABS plastic, silicone, glass and metal.
Other materials such as the realistic feel, although latex and phthalate free, are porous and so can trap bacteria in the toy even with proper cleaning which can lead to infections.
If you still want to use toys made from realistic materials, then the safer option would be to use a condom over the toy as well.
As far as dildos go, I'd say anything Tantus and you're bound to be happy. All their dildos are made from 100% silicone and are slightly more pricey than other 'realistic looking' toys. There's the Adam http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=19796 which is supposed to be realistic feeling so its probably exactly what you're looking for and its still made out of silicone so very safe.
I have the Tantus Vamp (which Lh no longer stock) and I'm so happy with it. It feels great and doesn't have a funny smell to it. I'm seriously considering investing in another Tantus dildo because I have a feeling its a brand that won't ever disappoint.
I used to have this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=22817 which I thought was alright, until I got the Vamp. It wasn't that great, it was quite hard (that's probably because of the vibrating motor though so if you went for the dildo version you wouldn't have that). It was also heavy.

It's a suction cup. Feel wise it's good, sturdy(!). Feels great inside too. The suction cup is good & sticks well to tiles & glass. This toy & 1 of our glass toys are my OH's favourites.
I've also got several glass toys and they are great too.

My OH has the 6" and 8" and loves these.... I mean really lives them.
She used to hate dildos apart from a small glass one we used to have but now she's used these she finds the glass too hard... But does reckon she'll still use them.... But she's already said she'll never stop using these and hope LH maybe brings out a few more versions of them...
At the end of the day it's more down to individual choice, likes and dislikes and really it can be trial and error.
