*Sigh* My latest order from LH has been bittersweet.
Sweet- It was delivered extremely quickly; it took just a day for it to be delivered to the US.
Bitter- Well.. My order was being sent to my partner's mother's house (as the delivery address was more accessible). I had already ordered from LH before and sent stuff out there so the discreetness should have been carried through, right? Wrong.
On the packaging was labeled "Lubricants and Novelty Toys". I'm sorry, LH but there is NOTHING discreet about this. I was quite upset at first to hear this as his mother knows it was me who sent it.. and he admitted it. Went down with him telling her not to open it.. and her answering "well, yeah, it says....... on the front" *cringe*. He got mad lol. I don't know how I'll be able to face her when I go over again.
Yes, it's quite funny (I'm still deeple embarassed) but I was expecting 100% discreetness. =[
Matt beat me to it but yeah, it's to do with the law when sending products internationally. I'm sure Fleshlight do something by labeling them as something more ambiguous but I can't remember what.

i'd guess that if they're sending it from the UK to the US they'd need to declare any liquids (for sure) and possibly suspicious looking mechanical parts (so your package doesn't get seized?) but they could do with making a note of that on the "discreet packaging" page of the site...? a little disclaimer: "sorry, but FDA rules require us to give a description of the products we're sending, but we try our best to be as vague as possible with our description" ?

I literally just got my tenga fliphole delivered, and although there was an awkward moment with my mother ("What's that? "Umm... I don't know!" *runs upstairs*), there was nothing on the box saying it contained lubes or toys, when it has both.

For some reason I don't think she's the type that would appreciate a LH voucher.
I understand with having to adhere to the Rules but I agree with a warning.. I would have easily not added a bottle of lube to my order. A little more tact with the wording could have made things better.. I can't send anything else over now cause my partner has kinda banned me lol. Shame the box would have ended up a hefty looking thing with the Philips Massager and Liquid Silk 100ml. >.<
Anywho, future reference should be made to that though. I was still expecting discreetness..
Out of interest, is this stated on this site before you order? I'm sure a lot of people in the US would appreciate a warning that the contents might need to be described prior to ordering.

I think I'll shrug it off and minimalise the damage done. It doesn't help that I am actually quite shy with others... I'll be there looking and talking to her- suddenly remember and go bright red and laugh. She's not the type of person that'll just forget either.
