Diving into the world of fleshlights/male toys

Hi all,

First time posting my own thread - i'm new to the forums!

I'm also pretty new to the world of male toys, and thinking about getting my first fleshlight so interested to hear other people's recommendatiosn as a first/entry level fleshhlight (or other equivalent) to get as they are obviously a fair bit of money too!

Thanks all,

D

I have bought a rather affordable THRUST fleshlight for my partner to try. It was £25 which is a lot cheaper than most. It looks pretty good and the reviews seemed good so hopefully it will be worth it.

I'll definitely let you know once it has been tried and tested.

Hey drill and welcome, the world of Male
Sex toys is an exciting one so it’s always good to hear an opinion from others. Fleshlights are quite a premium product but Lovehoney always have great deals so you can usually get one for around £45, but you may want to check the “thrust pro” range too

https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/brands/thrust/

The “pro ultra Abbie” is absolutely incredible for the price and it feels great, this may be worth a purchase if you want to just test the waters before spending fortunes:

If however you are looking for a flesh light product then the Riley Reid one seems really popular, both butt and “utopia” versions have loads of great reviews and it does feel super realistic with a nice lubricant:

I would highly recommend trying out the Thrust range first but fleshlights are great and they do feel super soft and realistic, also super easy to store away and feel clean. I would also get some cornstarch or Some renewal powder to keep things in a new fresh state:

The blow yo and Thrust ones are excellent to keep the flesh feeling new and stop any wear and tears from happening.

Hey, congratulations on your first thread!

So I don't have a penis but my partner does, and I see a lot of sex toys!

My personal recommendation and advice would be to decide whether you want to start with something realistic or not. Lovehoney has a whole category of male strokers that aren't realistic in appearance, making them a much more discreet option.

Tenga eggs are brilliant because they're small, discreet, relatively inexpensive and if you decide it's not quite right for you, it's easy to dispose of. The downside is they are designed to be used once, but if you take care of them, you can prolong their life. https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15676

A step up from those would probably be the likes of these, clear textured strokers. Again not realistic in appearance so easy to keep discreet:

https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=34068

Fleshlight do their own clear strokers too:

https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=39075

If you do want to try something realistic but perhaps don't want to part with too much £££, Lovehoney's THRUST range is a great starting point because they're much more purse friendly than Fleshlight:
https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30970
https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=38252 (This one is a realistic sleeve inserted into a plastic casing, much like a Fleshlight).

All of that said, I've heard that the Fleshlights are the pinnacle of realistic male masturbators. But hopefully the links above provide a little bit of insight (if nothing else!) to other options.

Hi and welcome to Lovehoney. My first masturbator was a Tenga egg which at the time seemed overwhelming but now it was a good first introduction. If your looking for a realistic masturbators then Fleshlight are one of the best on the market. A personal favourite of mine are the two Riley Reid vagina and butt ones. If you wanted to look at a cheaper option to begin with then the Thrust range is worth a look. I do own several of them with Chloe being favourite as she is lined with duel textures. If you wanted one with a firm outer casing then there is Abbie & Zoey.

Hope this is helpful n

Yeah, so I'm the same except I bought a fleshlight...angela white I think..whoever that is.

The actually feeling was nice and definetly enjoyable but it makes a very off putting (for me) "fffft" noise every time you thrust...its air escaping but it's very annoying for me. That annoying I have used it 3 times and each time I get more annoyed at it lol.

I can only say from my experience on this one, Maybe someone else can say if that's the norm or not.

Also my experience, there's a fair amount of maintenance afterwards.

I've got a few of these from the cheaper ones up to a couple of Fleshlights (one a free review one, thanks Lovehoney). My all time favourite that I keep going back to is Sophia:

I have some of the cheaper sleeves, which do a job and are pretty nice.

As for the Abbie, mentioned earlier. It feels SO SO realistic. I'm quite big however, so find her quite tight, and I don't last very long!!

Wow, thanks everyone for such a welcoem to the forums and such detailed responses! I think i'll try a thrust first then as an entry step

If I were you, I’d start with a Tenga Zen then work my way up to a Fleshlight. The Zen feels good, looks good and works well plus it’s stretchy and it’s reusable. It’s a really nice masterbation sleeve. I’ve done loads of reviews for a lot of sleeves, take a look n my profile.

The tenga eggs are great but if your looking for a cheaper fleshlight alternative I would start with a THRUST and once received do a review to get your 20% off code and use this plus your OH points to get a fleshlight ☺️. It’s a slippery slope though, just a warning as I have a drawer full of fake vaginas now which since the past weekend are down to 2 as we had a mass clear out!

Looking forward to hearing which thrust you buy and how you get on with it.

LIL_KNOWN69 new Lovehoney shopping to replace the ones you throw out?

Bondagegod, think I’m going to wait till the missus is out and buy an army of the fleshlight range 😂. Definitely need to purchase the Riley Reid set as I lost them during a move when I panicked and my parents were helping us unpack 😅

I own both the Riley Reid Fleshlights they are a favourite of mine. I think it would be panic mode with your parents helping you unpack.

Even though we’re both in our late 20s early 30s it’s still a panic when your parents are about to open a box of dildos and fake vaginas 😂 it’s like them finding your porn stash when your younger.
But totally agree the Riley Reid set are fantastic looking and feel extremely realistic so worth the money.

I know I don’t think it matters what age you are. Parents finding your sex toys is not something you want to happen.

Definitely worth the money two of the best masturbators I own.

I would say the Thrust Abbie is also excellent and definitely worthy of a purchase! The two Reid ones are some of the best items Iv ever owned though and defiantly take things to another level 😍

Yes I do the Thrust Abbie as well another great addition to the Thrust range.

My mother in law found a glass dildo in my wife's drawers a few weeks back (wife is 44...)

Maybe this deserves it own thread! Haha but back on subject, I hope drill found his compact companion 👌🏻
