My wife feels cery self conscious about it and finds it rather base/ crude.
Personally i like it as it seems to suggest a woman being confident in what she wants, which i find arousing.
I love 69 and anything that allows me to spend time with my tounge buried there is a plus.
So a woman sitting and grinding her self against my face/ tounge, works for me.
Ideally with her hands behind my head for added purchase.

This is something certainly on my to do list. My OH is very self-conscious therefore I doubt it’ll ever become reality. Anyone have any tips on how to make her feel more comfortable/confident about it? She is a larger lady which judging by the comments does play on a girls mind.

I am thin and am self-conscious too, I think it is common unfortunately, society shows an image of feminine perfection that is difficult (if not impossible) to achieve that makes us feel that we are not that beautiful and the feeling of shame arises. 
I did it for the first time a few days ago, during a dom/sub session where I was the domme 
. I noticed that my babydoll created a curtain, although it was not done on purpose, which prevented eye contact.
You also have the blindfold option, like that she is sure not to be seen!

For me I was Nervous about facesitting as I’m not a petite woman but about 5 years ago we started to do it and I found it amazing- while it’s not the most comfortable , it’s a powerful pose and I have done a number of selfies while sitting there - also when he gets it right it’s great for oral pleasure
A few years ago we bought our first facesitting chair - this makes it so much better as it’s comfortable for both and oral sex is always great using the chair

Now that you come to mention it (although I am too much of a gentleman to tell my wife), I once made the mistake of looking up while my wife sat on my face, and you are right; it’s not the best angle.
However, I must add (in the hope of helping ladies be less self-conscious) that it would take a lot more than an unfortunate angle to put a man off in that position, especially as he will either have his eyes closed in ecstasy, or be completely focused on the target.

Like others have stated my wife was hesitant to try it or to really let her self enjoy it. She never expressed why but she eventually started liking it. I absolutely adore my wife’s mom figure and I find it so much hotter when she embraces her body and just enjoys herself. There’s nothing better than watching a willing woman come sit on your face!

My wife thoroughly enjoys it, but only if I will clean shave which I hate.
Trouble is, I love it too so every now and then as a treat for both of us I will shave it all off and we’ll have a session. I absolutely hate myself without my beard though (and she prefers me looks wise), so I have to let it grow back as quickly as possible. Fortunately it’s fairly fast growing.
