I wouldn’t do that even though I am desperate to get rid of the pain. I have a GP appointment today so hopefully I will get some answers on what’s going on

Yes it did definitely but only for a short wile. I will try tens when I can get advice from the urologist or pain management clinic as I have been referred to by the urologist now.

@lumberjack I know this may sound ridiculous but take some photos when you get any swelling… if possible with something near the scrotum as a comparison ie a 20p piece. I’ve had to do this on several occasions for a variety of things and the doctors have found it really helpful.
I really hope you get some help soon as you’ve been suffering way too long.

I am just in allot of pain this morning. Both balls are now swollen and it really hurts. It woke me up an hour ago and it now time to get up. I am so fed up with this!! Just want my balls gone!!
If i were you, i’d go to A&E if both are swollen.
I have an appointment again with the GP this morning to have a look and advise.
Start to keep a diary @lumberjack and if you can today before you go make notes of dates etc…and start to log photos with a comparison so you have “proof” they can see.
I’ve had to do this for another medical matter…I was sick of banging my head against a brick wall and once they could “see” it they actually helped me.
Fingers crossed today is the start of better times for you.

I hope so too but it seems they will just do the same thing sort of thing sort out the immediate problem and just ignore the underlying issues
They have found Testicular microlithiasis in both of my testiculs following my ultrasound. The urology registrar rang me today they want to do another ultrasound in 4 weeks time to see if there is any changes.

This is promising but are they doing something to expect there to be a change in 4 weeks?
They are going to do nothing just said they will rescan in 4 weeks. It might explain my pain though which is encouraging but I have had numerous ultrasounds in the past and they have never come up with this diagnosis before if you look into it it might be serious who knows !!

Maybe the clusters haven’t been big enough but it can be painful. It must be a great relief for you to get some validation that there is something that could be causing it.
Yes it is nice to have some validation hopefully they will be able to do something about the pain I am hoping and praying

Just had another session with the psychologist went well talked about what was going on and how I am feeling. We talked about having a orchidectomy and how this diagnosis might be a reason to have an orchidectomy. As it can be a sign or precursor to cancer. We talked through my feeling about me thinking I was non bindery and we talked allot about my feelings about me not fitting into society. It was a really useful session and I felt we covered allot of ground in the time limit of the session.

Have to wait a month to see what the next ultrasound says, then maybe they will do something hopefully a bilateral orchidectomy. I will just have to wait another 4 weeks in pain. The pain has eased off a bit today hopefully it will keep that way.
