I definitely didn't intend it to be harsh nor a criticism of anyone. I only meant to bring a small amount of attention to it (asexuality) in context with this discussion. Perhaps simply by letting people (reading the forum) know that it happens they might be more accepting to themselves/others.
There have been periods when I didn't have an interest in sex and it was quite harmful to me not to accept that this was the case.
