The two idiots on bikes clearly have bigger issues of their own. I mean think about it latex_lover, how twisted does a person need to be to get off on randomly verbally abusing people they pass in the street?
No halfway decent person, like yourself, is even going to think twice about someone else's weight, let alone comment on it.
Your friends and family will love you for who you are, random strangers can think what they want- it won't be the truth because they don't know you from Adam!
Keep your head up <3
Personality beats physical looks evry time, and hey, who doesn't love a bit of squishier cuddle!
I have been away from the forum and only just seen this .
I will probably take a slightly different angle on it and hope that it makes sense.
First of all I agree with ther others. The other parties have no right in poking their nose into someone elses business . So like the others just ingnore the comments.
BMI- Like it or loath it is the system used for example by the NHS to determine if a person has potentially storing harmful fats in the body. Its not perfect as body builders, Personal Trainers ,some sports men and women inlcuding Rugby players can get erroneous readings because of muscle build. Muscle weighs heavier than fat thats a fact. However for the majority, it can be a useful guide. I have a normal BMI rreading and dont look like a "golfclub" . For those that dont like the system another test that can be done, is to get a ball of sting and measure it from your heel to top of your head and then cut. Then fold it in half and wrap it around your waist ( on level with the naval ) If you can get the ends joining all well and good . If not then corrective action may be required.
Looking at your post , the crux of the problem appears to be your confidence issues. A person who is confident regardless of looks, gender, size or colour come accross as sexy to others if playing the dating game .The problem with confidence it can also be very fragile. You can get say 10 compliments and it only takes one negative comment like these idiots you mentioned to dent that confidence .
So IMO its your confidence that you perhaps need to work on .
Being two and a half stone over weight isnt really a big concern for me. My concern would be if that two and a half stone turns into three and a half stone a year on . So I would just keep an eye on the trend here .
What I can say about weight if you decide to lose some , from my own experience losing weight gave me and a confidence boost. Its also acted as a boost to others as well.
