Because it’s been awhile since I posted a purely spanko centric topic, I am doing a demo this weekend for a group of sex positive “kinksters” and they have asked me to only demonstrate paddles. The person who is organzing this little demo says he is worried that if I bring wodden paddles it might be a negative for their group. 
But I am curious for those of you into it, do you prefer using or having used on you wooden or leather impliments and why?

I love my leather paddles for pretty much the same reason. They do minimize others hearing when you’re playing.

Personally I go through the implements in any session. Often start with OTK hand and then wooden paddle, before moving on, possibly to not OTK with tawses or belts or something else.
So I say take the lot and let them choose or try stuff.

My bag travels full and I have a wide range of paddles. Typically if I’m playing we do go through the entire bag. I like long plays and variety. But in this case trying to stay with the specificity they requested, but you never know once the bag is unfurled.
Dare I say it, but I get bored if you do the same thing for a whole session.
I won’t have the whole bag used on me in a session (way too many to choose from for that), but I normally have five or six implements, always starting with OTK hand (for connection), always ending with not OTK and something vicious. 10 strikes with a paddle this ain’t!
Well nobody wants boredom in thier play life. And I somehow doubt you have any boredom around you.
OTK is my love. Going through my bag is like a dance and every once in a while I have been known to dance while I’m flogging or caning. But my leather and wodden paddles work well together as well. And I do love ending with OTK as a nice cool down aftercare session.
Oohhhh… leather. Wood tends to feel too stingy. Our wooden implements tend to be baseball bat shaped. Although when it comes to a spank I like a good old fashioned hand. Hubby will use a bare hand or use gloves, whether it be vinyl or leather and interchange so I dont get too bored
