Hey everyone I am looking for peoples recommendations for a glass dildo for a beginner after yesterday someone (Sum Sub) said I should try it... so I've no experience with glass dildos at all so this is where you lot come in! I would recommend choosing one that is double ended, especially if one end curves and one is straight. This way you get to experiment with two different sensations in one toy and figure out what really works for you the most. They are the most versatile ones. Like these:

You can also use both ends - I have a review posted on there too. I like to use mine for temperature play - we use 2 glasses of water - one hot and one cold and we alternate between the two. Okay so I have added the pink one, the ribbed one and the G-spot one to my ever growing wish list! I know this is going to sound silly but this is why I have never even thought about glass... Is there no worry of it breaking or something?

Not really, they are made of a very durable glass (same as Pyrex).

Now I enjoy glass a lot. I would not say it is my all time favourite because I like softer feeling toys (Personal preference. The softer the better for me) but it certainly surprised me with how good it is! Not just for ladies either! male prostates can also benefit (but ensure it has a flared base of course)

If I just get the cheapest one, it might not be good for beginers and so I won't bother again

In that case - things to consider:
How big is it - will there be enough externally to grab and manipulate to your desires..?
How girthsome is it - There's no give in glass which I think is it's appeal - so choose a girth carefully.
What do you want from it - different shapes do different things - what do you like most
How does it look - not personally a priority but my OH chose our last piece of glass purely on what it looks like!

Wow they are amazing! I seriously have been missing out lol. I love the clear curved version, its amazingly good for hitting your g-spot and you can use it for anal as its curved (although i havent tried). Its also nice as it has the bumps option one end and the smoothness the other.
I havent tried the straight pink one yet but its nice to have the change from curved.

we have the ones Blackcherry suggested and they are great! different sizes and different designs give a lot of options for experimenting expecially if you are new.
Also they arent too big but both satisfying.

these are a great introduction to glass dildos and you get 2 for only £35! they're both double sided too so you'll get plenty of use from them
