so you work for your department? Do you have to be there daily? Or can you take on a part time job? I started with part time, but then thanks to my skills, I took on a project and than became full time. And after uhm over a year with the project, I got this job offer.
ok, it took me few years between part time and full time, but I got there. and If you have obligations at the university, maybe do a language course or similar and just work on it.
