I guess you could hide your face (and i do this in most of my pictures) but its virtually impossible to do this in some videos and as we mainly record oral videos its a bit hard to do.
It depends on the person but personally were not into showing our videos or getting ratings, most people keep them for personal use only.

Some people love to show their amateur, home made videos and some people (As already mentioned in this thread) love watching amateur because it is much more real. I always watch amateur when I watch porn online.
If you are a bit of a voyeur and would love to show your porn then go for it! I would recommend hiding your face, like you suggested. I would also bear in mind that there is that potential for your video to be totally out of your control as soon as it goes on the web and could end up anywhere. Also remember to hide any marks or tattoos or even furniture that would get you noticed if someone happened across your video that knew you and of course, don't have the camera pointing towards walls or units with family photos on.
