You learn something new every day. It used to be said that having a rubber / yucca plant in the front window was a sign of swingers, but I have never heard of the same being attached to an anklet.

Not for us.

For most married women, it means they like wearing an anklet and nothing more. Some believe, however, it is a symbol that she is a “hotwife” and open to relationships and sexual encounters with men other than her husband . Anklets are commonly worn by women who are in an open relationship or “swingers” as well.

I, only recently started wearing an Anklet, but I will be honest, I do enjoy wearing it. I posted a pic of me it a while ago.

I understand the swinging connotation and link to anklets … but there are specific ones that have indicate that, ie, HW, vixen etc, but for many it is nothing more than a fashion accessory.

I bought my wife an anklet some years back along with a matching toe ring simply because I liked them as pieces of jewellery. She wears both quite a lot in the summer although we’ve never discussed the sexual connotations of the anklet.
They’re a fairly common thing in many deeply religious countries so I’m assuming they don’t hold the same meaning world wide.
My wife’s got great legs, slim ankles and nice feet so both items certainly draw your eye and as for the hot wife bit………… :wink::joy:

As for Mrs Pootle with an anklet…yes please!!! She wears one occasionally, usually in summer and along with her permanent toe ring i think it’s incredibly sexy.

Haha most intriguing, I’m guessing for an ankle bracelet to look nice the person would need fairly nice ankles to pull it off :sweat_smile:
I’ve always known this sort of jewellery to be a summer beach type thing!

I wear anklets all the time & have never heard of the hotwife connotation :see_no_evil: I just like wearing them.

Grab her a pineapple pin to wear upside down, an anklet and perhaps some pampas grass for your front garden along with a Yuka plant for the window.
