Tilt your head back so that your mouth and throat are in as much of a straight line as possible. Take it slow. Stop when your eyes start to water.

My OH googled advice on how to deep throat as a surprise for me, I'm not sure what all the advice was but it's out there. All I know is it involved practice with either a dildo or a banana to help control the gag reflex and finding whats the best position for you. She did this in private without out me knowing so when she took me deep for the first time it blew my mind!! Have fun.

Seriously mind, that gagging is a good thing and has probably saved your life a few times, its a reaction to 'catch' food (or anything in our mouths) and stop us chocking. Like Kelly says practice, maybe start with a smaller dildo, let us know the progression :)

I agree with everything above. You don't need to stop when your eyes start to water, but you might want to do that at first, until you get more comfortable. A dildo is better than a banana because it won't scratch the back of your throat.
I slightly push my tongue out, but not all the way, and flatten it on the bottom of my mouth. Hope this makes sense! I also take a deep breath before taking the penis/ dildo deep in, because I'm not able to breathe when it's in my throat. This can make you feel panicky (like the gag reflex, the purpose is to save your life), but with time you learn to control that feeling.
Depending on how strong your gag reflex is, you might want to keep a bucket nearby, just in case. The longer your partner's penis is, the harder it will be to deepthroat him (but it's doable!). Practice makes perfect!

I love deep throat it turns me on so much, as it does for him seeing me swallow it all and choking on it. I can control my gag reflex to a certain extent, its a mind over matter thing. If I am choking too much then I just take a 5 second breather then continue.
I believe it is something that you can practice on. Training your gag reflex if you will, practice on him or on a dildo, etc.

It took me quite a lot of practice LST, but I got there. I'm not that keen on BJs, but when I am in the mood, I want and enjoy deep throat, so I'm glad I put the traning in. I do it once a month now to make sure I keep hold of the technique. It is definitely mind over matter though. I quite often do trigger the gag reflex (and bizarrely I quite like doing it), so for me, it is more about keeping going when I gag, as much as for some it is how to stop the gag reflex. From what I know and my experience obviously the more relaxed you are the better. Also depending on the circumference of the dildo or cock. iv manage a good 10-15 seconds with this dildo being 4.5" in circumference it was easy and I was able to breath slightly, I could of gone on for a bit longer. I haven’t really tried doing it with anything thicker.
