Needless to say I went through a phase of wanting to complete my badge collection it does take time and loads of dedication but ultimately is mostly hinged on others engagement with you when you post.

The badges are to encourage us and reward us for taking part. Most of them have their requirements listed underneath and generally, as @AJSTAR says, its how other users engage with with your engagement, that rewards you.
