HI all i decided to take the plunge and go hairless cough cough in the down stairs. Well disaster shaved it last week got razor rash asked someone and they said use veet so did that stung like hell and still not all hair has gone So what am i doing wrong should i have waxed it ? Done that once before and it hurt rather alot.... Dont want to have stubble
Soak in the bath first for a while to get your skin nice and soft and your pores open. Use lots of shaving foam and a new razor. This is my technique:
I sit on the edge of the bath... legs apart (I use to use a mirror but no longer need to)
Start with one side first, make sure you pull the skin taut before you shave and always shave from the middle outwards. Do the same for the other side.
Then to do the middle, pull the skin taut again (downwards) and shave upwards towards your belly button.
I also like to shave my lips and underneath which can be tricky at first... It's all about keeping the skin taut. Pull your skin tight and keep your hold of the razor quite gentle... DO NOT PRESS DOWN HARD!
To do underneath I would advise using a mirror until you get the hang of it, but it is simply a case of just running the razor in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Run your fingers around everywhere you have shaved to make sure you haven't missed any stubble and if you have just go over it.
The only time I ever get it as 'smooth as in the movies' is if I haven't shaved for a long time! Generally I shave every few days and although it is sometimes quite uncomfortable, I have got accustomed to it and it is most of the time smooth but not baby bum smooth. If you want baby bum smooth leave a longer period between shaving.
Good luck!

I've just checked Google videos, and guess what?
There are loads of videos on how to shave, shave bikini lines, shave this, that and the other!
You just have to know what to ask.
It's impossible to get it as smooth as they do in the movies. I have no idea what they use but you have to remember it's all done by experts and isn't going to give the same results as home shaving.
I was also disappointed when I tried shaving only to find that it grew back the next day, I got a rash and it looked awful! I tried waxing which didn't give a smooth result and also grew back quickly!
I realised that whilst shaving/waxing around the edges of my bikini line is okay, if I get rid of the whole lot and shave the strip down the middle it hurts a lot!
I leave a little landing strip, keep it trimmed and neat and then epilate a bit on the sides and shave over the top to give a neater finish. I then shave my outer labia (down the sides) so it's all smoothy smooth.
Use a new or nearly new razor that's still sharp, lots of shaving foam or conditioner and shave in the direction of hair growth. Shave every other day or so to prevent regrowth, exfoliate gently every day and put on an unscented moisturiser afterwards.
Hope this helps! x
When reading the title to this I thought you meant 'how do I walk down the stairs so smoothly and elegantly like in romance movies' - I'm still waking up.
I think they probably have laser treatment... My GF finds sudocrem is pretty good for avoiding rashes etc. although she has everything waxed and then uses a razor on the more sensitive parts. Sudocrem seems to keep it smooth.
Lol The Nymphomanianc :) But I agree reading the title implies just that!
Yeah I shave, Chest hair is a nightmare for me as I have dark hair there is shows! same with the legs, but I am not that bothered with legs, as long its kept tidy and it got a small shine!
an tips for smooth chest hair? I wonder if Veet immac hair removal cream will work? or wax it! or buy a NO NO hair laser remover!

Phew, thought I was the only one and felt so silly when I realised how wrong I was.

Me too lol
I only read this hoping for tips on how to be more elegant in killer heels
But back to the actual question, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if some of them also used photoshop type techniques as well.
For me it's waxing. I have a brazilian every few weeks and it's fab. If you go to a really good beautician they should use a new sort of wax which they don't use cloth to "rip" it off. The wax is applied and then left for a few mins in which time it dries around the hairs. The wax is then pulled off, it's alot less painful than the traditional way and the results are so smooth x
Sandpaper,.
thanks fo the replies dont fancy news paper kendo . Sorry for the misleading title didnt want to write how do i get a bold pussy incase i got told off
i have decided to wait a few weeks then go and have it waxed properly just have to look liked plucked chicken till then i guess
There was a massive thread on this.
That I'm going to bump.
And then Hide.
Because its fucking mortifying
But the advice was useful.
Oh gods.
This sounds crazy but after shaving wear very tight knickers. When you take them off the hair won't have grown back so rapidly and then they take longer to come through. It works on your legs too with tights :)
And I must admit I also thought it meant get down the stairs lol

Try shaving twice, like Lady G says don't press to hard, and 1st shave follow the direction of your hairs. Then apply more shaving gel and shave again this time you can shave in the opposite direction of the hairs but dont press too hard.
Shave twice and you'll end up as smooth as a baby's bottom :-)
Some years ago I did a bodybuilding comp. Obviously, there's no point going on stage pale and hairy. Even worse, risking a mop peeking from behind your tiny posing briefs. So I used Immac all over my body and the bikini line version for my bits. Worked a treat and no rash or irritation on growing back.
Nowadays I tend to keep downstairs tidy using a razor but it does get uncomfortable when a certain length as it grows back. haha
baby lotion helps keep it smooth down there after shaving / waxing , and its gentle enough to be used. but i still dont know how they get it like the movies
