when discussing penis size length is always mentioned with numbers in mind. (my husband is 8 inches etc)

Erhm, would be round 5.5 in circumference. Rather not over 6 inches. I am afraid that would be too much for me to take. I could probably take more, with practise, and warming up, but could be bit uncomfortable for me.
But this can vary between women. Some like lot of girth. If you look at some toys...
I think girth preference varies much more than it does for length. With length, if it's too long you just don't penetrate fully whereas with girth it can add considerable discomfort if it's too large. Though most women should be able to accommodate most girths with lubrication and sufficient warm up there can be cases where particular girths are too large for penetration full stop. It is that way for me because I have nerve damage that causes pain upon pressure - larger girth = more pressure = more pain. In terms of toys I can handle nothing more than 4inches though my partner is considerably larger than that and I could cope up until this last year when it has kind of fallen off the radar a little.

I require a penis to be precisely 3.98 inches in girth. I keep a tape measure with me at all times to ensure that this is met.
I have just measured my with string and then marked it, the uses my caliper gauge and came to 5.3inch? and about the same in lenght too when hard! I would say thats small!
I prefer girth to length. It makes me feel more 'full'

About average. Average girth is about 5inches and length just under 6 inches!
There are more men below 6 inches long than there are above.

Plus it's not the size that matters its how you use it, I can honestly say the worst sexual experience I EVER had was with a guy who was about 9 inches he just rammed it in thinking his size would make him a god, it didn't. Hehehe I actually broke his nose im not proud of it but when a girl says stop a guy should stop he didn't. I later found out he raped his ex girlfriend so I feel justified in my actions my parents were also very proud of me for fighting back in that situation lol x

looks like we have gone a little off topic but i agree, it shapes who you are when bad things happen and certain bad things that have happened to me have shaped who i am now so i would never make them have not happened if i could. a cobination of misenterpreted one night stands, messing around and relationships that didnt work out left me in a place where i couldnt be kissed without crying. it took a lot of patience before my partner could toch me or i could suck his Co*k without being remided of those bad experiences. those experiences however have made me truely value a stable, long term relationship and encouraged me to settle down.
