Can we please change the Thread (Your favourite lyrics) which is currently limited to posting 3 times in a row.
Maybe once every 12 hours or 24 hours is better - that would stop spamming but also allow people to consistently post and not be blocked out after 3 days if no else posts 
Ahh, I think the ‘consecutive posts’ rule would still apply even with slow mode activated. 
But there is a site setting [1] that can be adjusted to allow for a more lenient limit for all topics. For the My Reviews topic, people generally request in the Lounge for someone to leave a ‘breaker’ post if they need to splurge a run of them, which may also work for the Favourite Lyric topic too?
Though perhaps we should split this out into its own topic and gauge some opinions? It will ultimately be up to Brenna, but having some arguments for and against may help.

Thats unfortunate @Ian_Chimp but I do feel asking every 3 comments would get annoying for me (and obviously the person who decides to add a break or lyrics). Its definitely something to think about though and hopefully we get some opinions.
Even though people have always been very generous and happy to help for the breaker posts in My Reviews, I can imagine it still being a pain in the arse having to ask for one when you’re on a roll. 
I’m trying to think if there are any other topics that may also benefit from the looser restriction? That may help the case for bumping it up.
I think on the reverse side, are there occasions when it’s been good to have it at the default ‘3’? Like you say, it’s primarily to put some brakes on spammy/trolly behaviour so, depending on the risk, it could be worth keeping even if it makes a couple of topics a little more awkward to participate in.
Most of the setting defaults are just best guesses, but tend to work out quite well. Though every community is different, and if the limit is more restrictive than helpful then upping it can make sense. And if it turns out to be a bad choice it can always be dialled back down again.
I did have a think about any other topics that would benefit from less restrictions, but I drew a blank.
Even games are back and forth between members.
I mean even upping the limit to 5 or 6 would be a help and give other people a chance to reply. Topics get cycled so much that in 24 hours its hidden - blame the games 
(I’m to blame aswell)
My only solution if changing limits wasn’t possible was getting my OH to do the breaks or add lyrics (but then I didn’t want people knowing his account 
) which is why I put my original comment.
