It's the girth that I think is the trouble....and it's very curved. I have this 6" one and have no problems with that, don't even need any lube.

When I want a bigger toy, I increase girth by no more than 0.5 to 1 inch at a time to allow my body to get used to it slowly and gently. Lube is definitely required with bigger toys like this. Don't try to rush into bigger toys too fast, take your time and work up gradually.
