The Trip, currently on Netflix.
Norwegian comedy thriller/horror.
If you like your Scandi dramas it will be for you.
Itâs quite a romp, slightly gory in parts and also quite funny as itâs a long-term couple at their worst and their best.
We selected the subtitle option as the dubbing initially wasnât great.
Knives Out
I liked it alot definitely will watch the second one next week.
I went to see Whats love got to do with itâŚromcom isnât normally my thing but theres a new fancy cinema opened in town so we took our mum out for the day. It was actually really good.
@JoCat I just had to go seaching for a trailer. Looks very much one to add to my list for light hearted feel good watching and I do love Emma Thompsonâs comedy stuff. Romcoms arenât my OHâs favourite but he has to put up with them sometimes, definitrly one to watch when itâs streaming. Thanks.
Emma is so good in it too, the whole cast were excellent. Its predictable but very enjoyable to watch.
Raiders ot the lost arse
Straight Outta Compton
Luther like others said the attention to detail was a bit crappy, but do love him
John wick
Watched Glass Onion definitely not as good as the first one but still enjoyed it.
The new Luther film.
It would have made a good 1 hour episode but was padded out far too much and too many plot holes.
Elvis. Loved it!
Not my last, but definitely a fave.
I was hosting my BFâs bachelor party, and was stumped for the requisite porn film (along with mondo beer, and a âstripperâ who was a guy with balloons; you get the gist).
My OH recommended âFlesh Gordonâ, a take-off on the '30âs serial about a space-faring hero battling Emperor Wong, who wielded a Death Ray against Earth.
So Flash became Flesh, Dale Arden became Dale Ardor, the Death Ray became the Sex Ray, and things went downhill from there. You can imagine. Or not. There was more.
Highly recommended. About $25 on Amazon, and an absolute hoot.
OH likes to watch it to get her in the mood. Still a classic.
A Quiet Place, Part Two
Loved it, could of done with being a bit longer.
Dungeons and dragons for me! Not impressed at all really
@SteelA1 we enjoyed. I probably enjoyed it because my Son and his friends were having so much fun. They are all massively into D&D
@The_Little_Ladybird ive seen worse donât get me wrong but I just thought it could have been so much better! I thought it was too jokey maybe for use of a better word. Iâm not actually sure what all this D&D thing is about really. I just remember the cartoon when I was younger. Not sure if itâs even anything to do with that to be honest
Tetris on Apple TV. So so good!
I saw an ad for that and thought it was a game
