massage oil recommendations please...

Can anybody recommend a really slick and sensual massage oil? Something along the lines of baby oil but less greasy? thanks in advance x

Neil's yard - organic so great for sensitive skin and smells devine

i really love the Earthly Body range lovehoney sells :) i also like the massage candles in that range i have not tried any other brand yet,but lovehoney does have a good selection of massage products failing that i know bodyshop do some nice massage oils

Hiya cgm - I would highly recommend the Earthy Body Massage Oils. I have some of the following little bottles:

And they are amazing - I love the Skinny Dip - it smells gorgeous - they are only small but a little oil goes a very long way. They are not too greasy but are slightly thicker than some - but they do make your skin feel lovely afterwards.

The 2 other ones I have that I would also highly recommend are these:

These are larger bottles and the oil is just silky and not at all greasy - again a little goes a long way and makes your skin feel amazing and soft. Hope this helps Hun :) xxx

I love this one. It's smells yummy, it's not sticky and it goes a long way

But I equally like this one which comes in a smaller bottle which is great for travelling

It's all natural, and not greasy, and it makes you skin feel amazing for a couple of days after use. The oil and the massage candle smell so good, I think they smell like watermelon. You can also get a big bottle of the guavalava, but I would recommend a small one to try out to see if you like it first.

Sounds crazy, bit have you ever tried using a silicone lubricant for massage? It's amazing, you only need a little bit and the glide it gives is incredible and grease-free. It also makes progressing to an intimate massage much easier and better-for-your-bits. A little goes a VERY long way.

I also recommend Earthy Body Massage Oils. The Skinny Dip scent is delicious.

We like the durex play 2in1 stuff, its a thin(ish) lube and it is lickable. I think they do a range of flavours, oh and its condom safe. Lots of fun

All great suggestions, just as a wild card have you tried a massage bar lush have a great range with loads of great smells, also like it as you have no messing around with bottles, lots count of the numerous splits bottles of oil

Ive tried alot of different oils, lubes etc for massage and the best thing you can get is pure coconut oil.

Its solid when its cold so you put the jar in a bowl of hot water with liquidfies it, this means you get a lovely warm oil. It smells amazing and has a great feel. A little bit lasts along time and is great for the skin.

The only other thing i use is pure argan oil, but that can be abit pricey in this country. I stocked up when i went to Morocco.

I love this range - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=26221

KinkyFuckery sent me a gorgeous smelling/feeling bottle of oil. This one:

I knew you would say that so glad you liked it

Thanks for all your suggestions guys. Just one question, is the silicone lubricant easy to wash off after? Thats the main problem with baby oil, it feels really greasy afterwards and is difficult to wash it off in the shower (unless I'm using too much ? x

This is spot on. I always have extra virgin coconut oil in the house because I eat a spoonful a day and put it on my hair and scalp. It's a natural anti fungal, it's beneficial for all sorts of things. It tastes lovely too. I was looking for an edible massage oil so licking areas are possible lol :-) So I melted the big jar and poured some into a small empty bottle which I now keep in the bedside draw. It's quite a good thing that it solidifies because you know it's not going to leak out. When you know you're going to be using it, just put the bottle in some hot water in the sink, it melts very quickly so you don't have to wait long. Also, it takes quite a long time to solidify again so you've got plenty of time. It tastes lovely on the skin and it's beautiful to massage with. Leaves your skin so soft and not greasy. I highly recommend this :-)

this stuff is wonderful. It smells great and leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and silky. It's not greasy or too thick either.

FYI it's not a warming oil, the brand name is HOT - that's not what it does!

Btw, if you do buy it make sure it is extra virgin coconut oil. It should be pure white and smell like coconut, it's £6 in tesco where all the cooking oils are. I bought one from a health food shop that just said 'pure coconut oil' but when I got it home it was creamy colour and had no smell to it. That is stuff that's had all the pureness stripped out of it so is useless.
