My OH works in IT. A few jobs ago he had a director who played a bad round of golf, put his clubs in the boot of the car and slammed it shut. He later removed the golf clubs from his boot and the laptop that was under it. In slamming the boot closed he had managed to smash the mains plug through the screen leaving not just a crack but a physical hole all the way through the screen.
OH was tasked with getting this repaired so phoned manufacturer (lets call them Zell) for a price on the replacement parts. Zell representative on the phone refused to help with prices until OH checked the settings in the BIOS and updated the Firmware. OH informed Zell that was impossible as the external screens would not turn on until past the BIOS and that it was ‘very unlikely’ that either of these ‘great suggestions’ would be able to actually repair a hole through the screen and lid of the laptop. Zell were adamant that it would and stuck to their guns. Eventually a Zell senior saw OH’s point of view and agreed that replacement parts were required.
This is such a good point… not the him, her bit but seriously… Batman, Iron Man, Spider-man… where is the grammatical consistency???
…This may not be the point I was supposed to get from the the meme but it’s going to really bug me now!

Apparently Spider-man was Spiderman in the first few issues, then Stan Lee thought a hyphen would be good!
But yes, those things bug my spectrummy mind!

Ah, there you go, thank you! Turns out I really didn’t know. My mind was going… “Hmm, what do I know about pineapples? SpongeBob lives in one, they’re sold in chunks… any word play there? Nope, confusion”.
Learn something new everyday… it does make me a little suspicious of SpongeBob’s house party goings on though now!

See, Pampas grass I’d heard… though I’m not entirely sure what it looks like so I’ve probably missed some very exciting parties . The pineapple threw me though, that’s a new one for me.

We were on about pampas grass at work and the lady who works next to me stated she has it growing in her garden! I did explain what it signifies a lady who works opposite confirmed the myth to her ! She was mortified that she has missed out on the parties though lol
