To me I like the fact he has gone to the effort to dress up rather that just expect me to wear lingerie and him nothing

Thank-You to everyone for your help & advice within this topic and other Lingerie related topics that I have been active on recently chatting about this topic.
Youāll hopefully be pleased to know that I have now followed your various very helpful suggestions & advice and purchased 3 pairs of pants 
for myself. These are in more pastel & purple shades, made of soft, stretch material without lace, and could almost pass for male undies but thankfully they donāt of course as they are quite feminine in looks. I love them !!
Iāll be taking these on a 3-week holiday with me and ācoming outā so to speak in front of my OH whilst we are overseas. Iām planning to just put these on whilst getting dressed in the morning like I do with my normal man undies. Iām hoping that she notices and likes these panties on me and can see that its really not as bigger deal as she thinks it is and sees the enormous pleasure I have in wearing panties, both mentally 
and physically

I take your point about possibly disrupting our holiday by my ārevealā to my OH. She does know of my desires and knows I did buy a couple of panties a few weeks ago but so far she hasnāt seen them nor me in them. Given you advice I shall be treading lightly with my reveal surprise and I shall ask her first if I can wear them and whether sheās okay with this.

Playing devils advocate, what if she says no to your request to wear them? Are you not going to wear them if she says no?
If youāre still going to wear them, then I wouldnāt ask her because what was the point of asking the question if youāre going to do it anyway. But I would tell her.
As youāve already broached the subject, I would just say that you while you respect her choice to not be involved, you have bought some underwear that you enjoy wearing. And that youāre telling her to give her a heads up incase she catches a glimpse of them. I would suggest you also wash and dry them yourself. Let her become curious to see what they look like. I think choosing underwear without the lace was a good choice as if she does see them, theyāre not an āin your faceā type of feminine underwear.

An updateā¦following a long flight we arrived at our hotel in Chile ready for a shower & change of clothes.
I duly showered and as I only took a pair of my new panties into the bathroom I put these on and walked into the bedroom to dress. My OH looked at me, then down at my pants, smiled a little smile but said nothing and I dressed. I think secretly she had been wondering what they might look like?
My heart was racing fearful of a bad outcome but it was not thankfully. I shall take this reaction as an acceptance of sorts however I shall proceed with caution following the advice given but happier now that I have worn my new female pants in front of my OH . A very happy day indeedā¦

In my opinion itās society and itās so-called norms to blame that seem to dictate these stereotypes, one that my parents were so strict about and resulted in my suppressing my desires for over 45years. āWear what you likeā will be a phrase I now live byā
