As many have mentioned already, sizing. There are some decent female to male sizing charts on the net but one has to really go looking for them and they tend to vary in accuracy.
For the second point, I would say a nightie or slip because it leaves all the man bits still accessible. That being said, I like it all in different ways.
For the third point, a definite yes but not the typical 6 pack abs type guy. Use everyday type males as models so we can compare to our everyday type bodies.
