Sorry if this has already been covered here but maybe have two versions of each variety of lingerie. One of which has slightly different proportions to suit the more male shape, this would help to be more inclusive and who wouldn’t love to see all sexes modelling your great products. Also the same goes for the male range , I for one would welcome this.

It’s hard for me to make others understand why I like women’s lingerie.
It’s not really a gender thing, I just like the feel of the material but it might have a bit of naughtiness mixed in but then that would be a gender thing.
Now I’m confused!

The thrill and excitement for me is that it’s‘ women’s underwear, not men’s made to look a bit like a woman’s so seeing it displayed or modelled by a man does nothing for me I’m afraid.
Apologies if the terms ‘mens’ and ‘women’s’ offends anyone, believe me it’s not my intention but to date I’ve never been in a shop that defines the two sections any differently although I accept that there may be some specialist outlets that do.
Even here on Lovehoney, there is a huge section devoted to women looking amazing wearing lingerie and a much smaller section for ‘men’s underwear’ which features some really nice stuff and the odd naff novelty pair.

Hi Brenna, I might be able to answer more in a few weeks if this topic is still around.
I’m going to ask my wife if there’s anything she wants me / us to get from the male clothing lingerie boxer shorts category for the first time.
I’m guessing she might like the open fronted and back lace or stripped boxers on me.
I don’t mind seeing them on male models and guessing my wife wouldn’t either.
I’ve never worn anything for her before so looking to spice it up. Cheers.

While we are on the subject, it would be good for LH to sell some heavy duty stockings and suspenders for plus sized women, that would also work for muscular men, with like 6 or 8 clips, especially metal rather than plastic clips.

Personally I prefer things meant for women as its a bigger thrill. The fact that it doesn’t fit perfectly is a bit of a turn on to be honest. It just emphasis that I’m wearing something that wasn’t necessarily meant for me.
I love wearing bodies so that I can feel that I am wearing something.
Will be looking in your sale for some bargains later!

As a long term male who loves to wear womens lingerie essentially what is helpful is : sizing that includes men, lingerie with a good push bra for those of us that do not wish to wear false breasts but do want to have the shape of breasts - this should include slips, babydoll, bustiers, bodysuits. I know that if I pick my size bra 38dd to 40dd and have it as a push up for an extra size to two sizes then I am going to be ok. I know most men who have dressed for a long time have worked out the sizing but some sizes of course run small or large and it tends to those that don’t include bra sizing. There are many lingerie stores now here in Australia that will allow men to try on lingerie and to be fitted properly - they tend to be at the pricier end like Honey Birdette, IM Lingerie etc but even Bras n’ things will do it if the time is right. For LoveHoney I am sure many of us would pay more for a fit that we can be sure off and a quality of garment that will last keeping in mind for men wearing lingerie usually ends in having solo or couple sex in that lingerie.

Are lovehoney making any progress with this? I had a look at the products website and when looking at female items it looks like the models are still all female and the sizing doesn’t include Mens sizing? I’m curious as to why this was suggested (clearly there’s a market for this) but then nothing is being done about it?
It’s quite obvious from the forum alone there is a demand for this. See also, showing different body shapes/sizes on the same product page. I get that there are “plus size” products but it would be better if you could just see different people wearing what is essentially the same item from one page.

Have a generic sizing chart that has mens sizes as equivalents. So a size 10 female is a I don’t know a 26 waist on a man? something like that.
Interested in - everything! Panties, bodystockings, bras, tights, crotchless underwear, sexy fancy dress/costumes.
I don’t think seeing them on a male model would help, because that might put some people off, men who wear these things want to feel feminine and imagine they look like the female model.
What about stocking heels/shoes in mens sizes as well. Tends to go with the whole feel.

From what I have read on LH Forum and elsewhere, one of the biggest problems that most men (who like wearing typically female lingerie) have is buying the correct size/fit.
Lingerie is styled /designed / cut to fit the Female anatomy - which differs from the Male anatomy
Apart from the few outlets specialising in lingerie designed especially for the Male anatomy, men are faced with the difficult task of calculating / converting product sizes and designs specifically helpful for women and wondering if one particular style of knickers will be a comfortable fit e.g full, high wasted brief v Brazilian brief.
This often results in disappointment for men when they discover that their size selection and/or chosen style is hopelessly wrong.
What would make it easier for them to select and find lingerie?
It would be most helpful, for men, who like wearing and shopping for typically female lingerie, if products could include alongside (or a separately to) the existing :-
- Size Guide; and
- Body Size - Select your option;
recommended sizes for the Male torso.
Additionally, it would be helpful if products carried a logo identifying lingerie products as having a recommendation / endorsement for the Male market by LH, or Male customers.
What style of lingerie are you interested in?
Underwear (knickers) in a variety of styles and materials that would comfortably accommodate the Male anatomy.
Would I like to see images of the garments on men?
Yes, this would provide Male customers with an immediate impression of how the product looks and fits before they buy.

I agree with everything you’ve said here.
However, the look and fit is only a very small but important part of the equation.
For me it’s how it/they feel on that really matters.
As far as size goes, like choosing your most appropriate in mens, you normally only need to do it once e.g. I know what size waste fits me and that I prefer one style of undies over another so once you’ve sussed out the shape and stretch of the all important front bit, buying becomes a whole lot easier.
The added thrill for me and a lot of others who’ve posted on the subject is that you’re wearing womens knickers, briefs, thongs, G strings or otherwise so I’d prefer to see them modelled by a woman.
As I said, how they look, either on me or another man is far less important if they’re a good comfortable fit.
I’m sure Lovehoney are working on this or, as has been said recently, what was the point of asking the question.

I think this is a great topic, I love lingerie I’ve never looked at the mens section think it great you offer it but for me I buy lingerie, wigs to feel like a woman I love dressing up it’s amazing feeling I would only ever but woman’s items, I think it would be greatif you could mix and match items, I’m very fortunate my mother in law buy my lingerie and I think especially with outfits a bra for example would suit better, I wearing a school outfit right but had to outside of LH to find a matching bra. I think your live chat is not as helpful as it used to be it all very automated now and If I ask for any advice they used to be really good being a man buying lingerie etc they used offer really good advise now when I ask all I get is is a personal choice. The live chat was amazing hopefully it will come back, I thin sizing will always be an issue for a man some will work others won’t I just wearing lingerie and dressing up as
I think outfit like maid ones etc outfits can be a little to small in my opinion I’m just actually wearing a little school girl outfit which is amazing but had to get a bra from elsewhere, one last I would absolutely love a product line of crotchless panties for men any maybe some things that are thin up the rare but won’t hold the package I found lace shorts or panties that ride you bum it just when. I want to wear thinner pair in can feel riding my bum which feels great the package holder isn’t quite big enough

I think using male models is a great idea!
Personally I’d love to see more lingerie specifically targeted at males (ie: the “Male Power Scandal Lace Micro Thong with Pinch Back“) with more room in the front, etc.
It’s be great to see more male clothes/costumes too.
In terms of female lingerie, I’d go with bodystockings and thongs.
