I occasionally wear suspender tights but nothing beats the feel of real suspenders and stockings, especially the vintage 10 strap suspender belts.
I also have a couple of sets (black and white) of clip on suspender straps that clip onto my knickers so that I can wear suspender type stockings with any pair of knickers I fancy.

My goodness you are so right, Whilst not the most avid lingerie wearer myself, my partner always wants me to dress up in her stuff.
As previously recounted on here Emm, we had friends round recently and although nothing happened, my partner ended up discussing lingerie with our guests (have known them years) and before you knew it, was handing her (clean) silky knickers round for them to feel the material.
They were both impressed as neither had seen anything other than cheap and nasty stuff before.
And we were all more or less sober too !

Grattons catalogues through the 70’s for me.
Made a huge impression on me, something that I wouldn’t realise for over 40 years.
Once I realised that there was an element of feminity in me and understood where this came from my struggles with my mental health and who I am as a person and what I’m about made sense. I am still struggling with my lingerie wearing as a major part of me wants to live my life wearing female underclothing, but then I don’t want to upset my OH who can’t quite accept this part of who I am now, given that we have been married for 34 years, and I’ve only recently revealed this secret to her.
I am still grateful to these catalogues and the education they gave me back them

@Mid-50s_kiwi I used to love looking at the lingerie section of the catalogue when I was a kid and hoped that one day I would look like that …. But when I was 18 I was given a sexy lingerie catalogue (high street sex toy and lingerie store - cannot say the name) - that was a game changer and k bought loads
