Lovehoney Love Thruster Rechargeable Thrusting Rabbit vibrator
Who knew a girls best friend would be 6 inches long, with a girth of 4.5 inches, and would regularly be taken to bed? This toy is difficult to beat.
The toy comes in the standard Lovehoney packaging we all know and love; punny, informative and easy-to-read. The toy sits inside with a safety guide, operating manual and a USB charging lead.
The instructions advise a full charge of 180 minutes giving 50 minutes of play so I put it on charge and eagerly awaited playtime. Once fully charged I got to grips with the toy, literally, turning it on and allowing it to do its thing in the palm of my hand. I was absolutely mesmerised watching the shaft extend and thrust and the beads rotate while the bunny ears vibrated and pulsed alongside.
The silicone makes it smooth and seamless, and the base of the toy is designed to provide a good grip while in use.
The controls did have me a little lost for a while; there are 3 buttons: one for power, one for the thrust, and another for the vibrations. One long press of the power button puts the toy into standby mode, then you use the other two buttons to control the other functions. In my hand, easy. While inside me, a little more difficult to remember which does what as I clumsily press all 3 buttons.
The thrusting function has 3 speeds although I don’t notice much difference between them. Regardless, it’s the best bit about the toy! There’s something about not having to manually control your pleasure that really hits the spot, literally. Just hold the toy still or secure it somewhere (tucked into the duvet?) and let it do what it does best.
The rabbit ears have 3 speeds and 4 patterns, and you can certainly feel the difference with these! They are POWERFUL. I always like my vibrations on a steady rumble however the patterns change things up a little, and I can turn the vibrations off entirely and keep the thrust going if I so wish, and vice versa.
The size is non-intimidating and perfect for beginners, and with some water-based lube, it slips in with absolute ease. The vibrations help with the comfort too.
Lastly, this certainly isn’t the quietest toy in the toy box… I’d recommend playing under the covers, with music on, or when the house is empty if you really don’t want to be heard. It’s predominantly the thrusting part of the toy that causes the most noise, however it’s totally worth it for the enjoyment it gives.
