Obsessive Lonesia Red Lace Embroidered Underwire Bra Set
To begin with, this set required a little bit of trial and error. At size 10/36C on top and 12 bottoms, I sit somewhere between the S/M and the L/XL. I initially received the L/XL (12-14) and very quickly realised that this was a no-go for my body size. The bra was too big and was baggy rather than sexy. I exchanged for the S/M (8-10) and this fit practically perfectly (despite my how-will-my -size-12-booty-fit-into-size-8-bottoms concerns).
I needn’t have worried about the sizing of the knickers; although they aren’t adjustable, they provide a good amount of stretch, and despite the keyhole features to the front, they still provide decent coverage.
The S/M bra, as mentioned, was a far better fit. I wore it on the loosest set of hook and eye fastenings and adjusted the shoulder straps a little to keep the fit snug against the body. The materials are stretchy, although the cups are underwired so there isn’t much leniency in sizing in this department, however on my body it sits really well. I would say the set looks a lot better on the model than on myself, and somewhat different, however she is fuller busted. I find the mesh material that climbs to the shoulders are a little too thick and would probably suit bigger boobies better! My boobs, however, do feel very secure and still look great!
The style of the lace probably isn’t what I’d normally choose to wear; I don’t think it’s particularly sexy, although I do enjoy the edging that sits against the ribs.
The entire set is made to a great standard. Thought and detail has evidently gone into all aspects, and it’s a set that will take a lot of wear, no doubt.
I don’t want to leave a review without mentioning the packaging. The set arrives folded neatly within tissue paper within a box, which is then housed within a sleeve. It’d make a wonderful gift!
