It’s a very deep midnight blue! I’m working out how hard it is to photograph nail colours well… I got them done last night but all the photos they just looked black so waited until the daylight!

As good as phone cameras are, I think the subtleties of nail polish colours really show up their limitations. I might resort to using my proper camera for nail shots in future.

I won’t be able to do anything fancy but i have bought a set of things like little brushes and dotting tools to have a go with 
I’m giving my nails a bit of time to recover before painting again though, the last lot of polish was thick so didn’t come off well (bits were chipping and peeling so it had to come off) and i got frustrated and peeled it off (i know you’re not meant to do that but now I’m just moisturising them and stuff to try to help them recover) (on the plus side my toe nails are still pretty and blue)

Ooh nice choice. I went for a shimmery blue on that same row with the Essie glitter on my ring finger. Didn’t realise I had so many until I laid it out like that!

I don’t tend to go for glitter or pearlescent colours, but I like flat brights. Top row, 4th in line? Looks like a great pink.

I love those Barry M pinks, if my nails are short I normally go for the bolder colours and glitters, but they’re longer now and I feel its too much! (says the girl with pink hair)

Ooh @glitterismyfavouritecolour I want to see what the middle, Under the Sea one, looks like on nails. Also, love the shade of the Liquid Chrome!
Yep I just do my own gels now. I wouldnt say they last as long as salons but I’m saving so much and can get about 10 days out of a set , but by then I’m bored of them anyway. I visit a hair and beauty supplier and they sell them so cheap.

@glitterismyfavouritecolour - that’s a great collection you’ve got there! I’ve had fun working my way along the rows of bottles, going “Got that one! …got that one! ooh that’s gorgeous! …got that one!” You and I seem to have pretty similar tastes in NP - I’d happily wear most of your babies!
