How does a powder work? I’ve only ever used polish!
@Cassii I think it only works with gel polish but you paint them as normal with any colour polish but black shows up the best. Then either put on a no wipe top coat or just dry wipe the tacky layer off with a lint free wipe. Next rub the chrome powder really well in to the nail dust away excess then add another layer of top coat. I’m explaining jt really badly I’m sorry

thank you, I’ve never used gels so it’s a new one on me!
My new gel nail set arrived today: the lamp, a couple of colours, a base coat and both matt & usual top layers.
Something to take it all off with, and a handful of other bits and pieces.
No idea how to use any of it…
Hopefully I’ll get chance to play around with it all this weekend… I’ll post the results, if they are suitable for daytime viewing…

My pretty nails are still as good as when I did them a couple of weeks ago. Is there any issue with leaving nail polish on for a long time?

If there is I’d like to know too since my blue toe nails have been there for a good few weeks now. I don’t think there are any problems with wearing polish for a long time though

As a result of the lockdown I now get to keep my awesome Halloween nails for as long as they last! Silver linings.

I’ve had a go at some new nail polish too that i’m hoping will last, the pics should be up once approved. I will admit i messed up the right hand a bit too much so took off what’s in the pics and just did them the same base coat as my left. Overall i think i did ok for my first attempt trying even a basic pattern (the one on my thumb is actually relatively fancy i think, i did a spiral)

) since I’ve been using gel… It used to go everywhere wiht regular polish.

I was going to say, yes - your toes go green one by one and fall off, but others have already been along to reassure you.
I think polish on toe nails lasts a lot longer then on fingernails. No adverse effects that I know of.

Wow! My finger nails didn’t survive day 1 back at work in tact. Toe nails always last a lot longer but I don’t tend to get my toes out as I have what have been described in the past as, “Chubby Midget Toes”.
Perhaps they need a polish to make them feel a bit better about themselves
