I’ve used mine as a regular base coat. When I used it last time I hadn’t shaken it and it went on really pink and patchy, so there’s definitely extra stuff in compared to the regular clear top & base coat. I don’t know if it’s enough to actually make a massive difference yet though, but I can try a few photos out on my big toes when I get an opportunity to see if we can spot any improvements.

Are you sure you’ve measured right? Mine are 20mm across, and I have medium hands.
Hmmm… have just measured them again and they’re 16mm at the widest point. Maybe that’s not as big as I thought? I’ve just noticed, when I’ve looked at stick-on sets in shops, that the thumb ones are always much narrower than my actual thumbnails.

My thumb nails are 13mm and the largest stick-on in the set I have just bought are too big. They are numbered, so when I work out which way up they go I’ll use no2 for my thumbnails, not No1. The brand is Kiss, from a popular pharmacy (I think I can say that? Lovehoney don’t sell nails…)
@MsR I think they’re supposed to go glitter at the end, but they look like they fit either way so you could probably get away with popping them whichever way you prefer

Thanks! I suppose the idea is to look like the tips have been dipped in glitter.
They are square at each end, like my natural shape. Filing them to a point looks really odd on me but great on others.
My vote is glitter at the tip, but I know nothing.

@MsR - Re. the glitter nails, to be honest they look fab either way round (and I’ve certainly seen this kind of effect done both ways), so fill yer boots!

@MsR personally I’d go glitter to the bed so it’ll last better as stuff at the tips tends to get chipped away faster

Yeah, depending on the viscosity of the gel used you can end up with little nail mounds. I’m used to them by now

According to the teen who has just returned home, the lasses at school have the patterns at the tip.
He has also been known to wear nail varnish himself, quite proudly along with his football kit, so I will trust his judgement…
