There is no point in me planning for valentines day, considering I'll be spending it alone despite being with someone :/ Another reason why long distance can suck so much ass, and not in a good way.
Ive only had 1 proper valentines with someone, that was last year, but it doesn't bother me not having any plans. Usually means I can make some easy money babysitting for my friends so they can have romantic nights out.
We booked what we're doing for Valentines day about 6 months ago but only out of fear it would get booked up otherwise (only 4 rooms available at any time)
Ooooo I don't mind easter stuff coming into the shops early, it means cream eggs and malteaser bunnies!! :D As for valentines day, im hoping for chocolates too haha x
I may have to treat myself to some easter chocolate especially if I don't go home. As for Valentines Day I hate the damn thing because I've never had reason to celebrate it. Sour grapes, I know, but I don't see the point of pretending to care about it when I don.t I guess I will stay home and watch the Sims 3 new expansion live chat that's scheduled for that day, unless my uni gang wants to go out that day.
I love Valentines day and I've never had a date for it. Usually I either go out to dinner with friends or buy myself icecream and watch a soppy chick flick on my own. Either way I love it! What better way to show myself how much I love me? :P I've always thought Valentines day was for making sure everyone you love knows it, not just those you're IN love with.
Me and my OH always do something unconventional on Valetines Day, just because we don't really care haha. Last year we went to watch some ice hockey, pretty good too. We don't normally get each other stuff because, to be quite frank, most of its crap.
I'm really excited for valentine's this year, it's my 1st with a new boyfriend and he spoils me rotton on a normal day so i cant wait to see what he's planned for it!
Not too bothered by easter, love creme eggs but thats about it :)
i haven't even thought about valentines day, my OH birthday is about a week before it and my little brothers birthday is two days before it. So my mind has been on that instead.
I don't care much for easter as i don't tend to like chocolate much. I never eat easter eggs im given and tend to pass them on to my mum. For past couple years i've told people to give me fruit or something instead if they really did want to buy me something.
I dont recognise Valentine, I dont care about Valentine and when I have partner I admit I do hope he will not care either. I guess its partly because I am from different culture, it was imported and therefore I am just ignoring it. My country has the 1st May as the day but we dont do anything that much special, its just tradition to kiss under a blossoming cherry tree.
I personally am trying to make special things for my partner all year round when I have one and Valentine is just another day for me.
me an oh have never really celebrated v day in the whole 6 years we have been together for me personally i think you should show your loved one you love them all year round not just the one day a year i dont buy into it all far to commercialised these days
