I live near Sandringham where there is a lot of activity today. Police appear to have set up a one way traffic system for access to the church. Lots of flowers and tributes being left.

It is indeed sad - my Dad received his MBE from the Queen and said she was a funny, lovely lady. She will be missed. I have to say tho…I found myself surprisingly more upset by the passing of Bernard Cribbins a few weeks back. Was driving my daughter to nursery and had a Winnie the Pooh story playing which was narrated by him…really set me off…
My emotions are very surprising sometimes…

I heard on a radio chat section, monarchs are referred to as the King of , or the such and such Queen.
However when someone just said
“the Queen” it required no further qualification.

Cool new coin being unveiled in Canada in remembrance of the Queen:
The $2 coin got it’s name from it’s predecessor the “Loonie” which was a $1 coin with a loon on it. Thus the term “Twoonie”
