Hello LH, me and my gf want to get it off in the woods, Iād like to know what your thoughts are is it a massive turn on or a ick. Iāve never done it before
This is one of those situations where I figure the reality and fantasy may not align. The fantasy may be the spice of feeling like you might be caught and the explosive passion of going 0 to 100 but the reality is likely to be it can be difficult finding the right place, chances are there will be bugs and spiders all over the place and also if you are caught, this is likely actually a crime in a lot of places.

It is risky. If you are lucky no-one will discover you if you are unlucky you will get caught if you are very unlucky something worse could happen. I have posted about my experience when late at night we were chased by at least 6 poachers (counting the number of flashlights) but we escaped i know what would have happened so we never risked it again and did it in the car with the doors locked. Do you think you can protect your gf as well as yourself if confronted by say two, three or more blokes?
I have done this before, but it is risky so itās better to know the area properly before you test the waters, I know it made me super hard the remote possibility of getting caught, so just be careful.

Oh dear lord I love it.
Scout it out first and be sensible.
The best are the commercial plantations that are normally huge with fir trees that often deaden sound, you can walk into them a long way and find plenty of dips and hollows. From the inside out you can see a long way towards a sunlit path. From the outside in, it mostly looks black. So youāre not as visible as you think.
The ground is covered in pine needles, which are actually quite soft, unlike brambles, and so long as you have a blanket or coat to cover over twigs and roots, you can lie down. The lack of undergrowth means theres very few bugs or other wildlife though I would suggest a lighter coloured plain blanket. Ticks are becoming a problem especially round the Peaks and Lakes with their large deer populations.
Up against a tree can be problematic as firs tend to have branches closer to the ground but youāll find plenty that arenāt and the odd deciduous.
Youād think a clearing would be ideal but more often than not youāll find undergrowth makes use of the light.
The commercial plantations ( like you get in the Lakes, Peaks, Wales etc. ) are not used so much by tourists and so long as you keep away from any areas being harvested you wonāt see any workers. Youāll get the odd walker but theyāll be few and far between and theyāre unlikly to investigate noises in the trees ..
If its your first time Iād avoid local woods in cities or close to housing. That can be asking for trouble. Too many annoying teenages with too many phones.
Deciduous woods tend to have thick, unpleasant undergrowth, lots of insects and wildlife and youāre left to have fun on paths, logs or benches. Again that can be asking for trouble and unless youāre 100% sure youāre safe Iād avoid it for now.
EDIT: Just made a huge assumption that youāre in the UK.

I agree with @BrokenEye always get to know your surroundings whenever doing anything outside.
I love it. It all depends upon where one is at in said woods.
Long ago I/we lived in the middle of 40 wooded acres way out in the Ozarks.
It was simple to have sex outside. We used our hot tub naked. My then wife, my 1st wife, would work in the yard with me without a top on as she was sunning herself while doing yard work.
With the leaves on the trees, which was most of the year being down south, we couldnāt see another home and the closest homes were almost a half a mile away and they were a good bit lower than we were as there was elevation change.
Itās not the woods, but with my current wife, our backyard is pretty private and there are a few places where itās completely private and under a covered porch in the back too. Our entire back yard is fenced, we have a pool back there.
So while itās not the woods, your title was āOutsideā and Miss Heather and I have done some things back there in privacy, especially in the evening with no lights on the porch.
I/we are a fan of doing things outside, but not anywhere that we may be seen.
Itās being outside that is nice for us, not the thrill of possibly being seen, which neither of us want.

Other than your first wife being there, the Ozarks sounds blissful.
Was it like the Appalachians where you can never go out after dark because of the Blair Yeti Snowman?

Nothing like a Yeti 
There were all kinds of wildlife though. Black bear, wild turkey, wild hogs, fox, tarantulas, so many snakes, scorpions, tons of deer and other small mammals.
We never saw a bear on our land, didnāt mean one didnāt wander through at some point. We and others did see bear less than a mile away when we were on the road in a car. I never saw a wild hog either (glad I didnāt, they arenāt to be trifled with). I did see fox and wild turkey on our land including so many snakes etc.
We were city kids before moving there. There is so much we didnāt know but many folks from the area were so kind and they enlightened us to some of the things and ways down there.
We were just 27 when we moved out into the home we had built in the woods. We were young, naive and just following our passion.
Even though that was all with my ex-wife, that still holds many warm memories for me. I was genuinely proud of us for working for a few years to make that a reality, to bring it to fruition.
My/our place now is nice, small, not out in the middle of the woods but itās ours and more than what we need. Itās in a nice area, in nature I mean, other homes are around but weāre not in some huge subdivision in the city with neighbors right up on us where weāre at. Weāre about 20 mins outside of town where weāre at.

Iām hoping to get lucky outdoors soon. Going to Amsterdam for our anniversary and I believe itās legal in one of the parks there. Aslong as youāre somewhat discreet.

Yes it was, might still be legal.
Iām one who did just that, have sex outside in the park at night, though it was back in August of 2010.
Iām American and I was working for a company that was owned in the Netherlands, though I worked in a U.S. office and plant. I took several business trips there and while there on my 3rd trip in Aug of 2010, a lady and I had sex outside in Vondelpark a bit after midnight.
Vondelpark is the park where itās legal to have sex in it, after dark and not by the childrenās playground equipment and you have to clean up after yourselves too.
Vondelpark is right there near the canals by Amsterdam, a short walk away.
I donāt know if itās still legal but it was back then.
Either way, enjoy Amsterdam, itās a blast.
My trips there were all on business (March 2010, June 2010, August 2010 and October of 2010).
At one point during a 6 month period, Iād spent a tad more than 1 out 5 days there, which kind of blew my mind.

The home you had built! Yes I can see why youād be proud of that. Not many people can say they built their own home. At least not round here.

However there are risks that need to be assessed. The last time we went out to play (as previously related to W-N) in rural Nottinghamshire we were interrupted by lampers with a whippet and a massive night-sun light.
Put us off for life.
Neither, we had moved several times before we divorced. It was sold when we moved away from the Ozarks to go to Texas.
A little rundown about that home, the process my ex-wife and I went through.
No kids yet, while living 12 hours away up north in the U.S. we each got 2nd jobs to save. I worked 3 jobs for a bit but had to back down to 2 jobs as Iād literally be up all night 1 to 2 nights a week doing those 3 jobs and after 3 months I was too worn down.
We bought 40 acres but this was long ago and it was only $500 an acre, so just $20K for the land.
We were working to pay off our 40 acres and we did. We were still living and working 12 hours away from where our 40 acres were.
We then kept saving so weād be able to put 20% down to avoid PMI (private mortgage insurance) and we got that saved up.
We then kept working both jobs to save up a cushion to have when we moved there as we planned to move there when one of us had a real full-time job. Harder to do, no internet back then, you kind of had to be in the area to look so we drove there often. My 1st wife landed a teaching job there that began fall of 1994. We moved that summer, I had to look for a job when we got there.
11 months to the day we arrived in that new state, we moved into our new home out in the woods.
A LOT had to be done in those 11 months though. Again, I didnāt have a job in the area when we moved there. We had no builder. Our land had no road leading out to it and it was 9/10ths of a mile off the paved road.
There was no water or electricity on our land either so we had to get that taken care of. And there was a lot to do with that.
We hired a man with a backhoe to dig a trench for the PVC pipe that would bring water to our property. He had to dig almost a half a mile and we had to go through two other peoples property to get the water line to our land so we had to go talk to them, get their approval etc.
My 1st wife and I laid and glued the PVC pipe ourselves, we were kids, trying to save money.
The man who dug the trench told us to lay two sets of PVC pipe. I asked him why, he said that when we buried it, sometimes a rock hits and cracks or breaks the PVC pipe.
Before he could swing the side of the backhoe to cover it up, my 1st wife and I had to bury the two sets of PVC pipe by hand to ensure no rocks would damage it. That man said when we tried to turn water on in the future, if we found one broken, a 2nd would already be in place so we wouldnāt have to have him out again, did another ditch etc. It took a long time to bury almost a half a mile of PVC piping by hand, but we had to do it.
The area where our road was going to go had a fence going through it. We had a 30 foot easement alongside a 10 acre rectangle piece of land that abutted our property to put our road in on.
I went to talk to the man about his fence not being on his property and he told me not to let his cows get out when I had it moved.
My wife and I hired a man who knew what he was doing but told him she and I would help him. We had to take that fence out and we put in a new 4X4 field wire fence in over a quarter of a mile. It was hard, rocky clay soil that wasnāt easy to work with, to dig in etc.
My 1st wife and I did over half of the work on that fence, the man we hired did the rest.
We had to find someone to do the bulldozer work to make our road, clear the homesite. The road took a lot of work, it went down and then up. There would be a lot of water run off. He had to put a big culvert in at the low point of our road so the water could go from one side to the other instead of over the road, which would have washed it out.
We wanted the electric lines buried going to our house, so another backhoe and trench. We had the electric lines brought to the edge of our property but we then had them buried from there to the house site as we didnāt want to see any electric lines in the air coming to our home.
Again, 11 months to the day we moved to that new state, we moved into our new home in the woods.
In total, it was a 3 year process from buying the land, working to pay the land off, working to save up for the downpayment and cushion we needed to move there etc. and it was a ton of work once we got there.
We didnāt know ahead of time how much would be involved. We were young, naive but we just kept pressing forward.
It was a nice 2 story, 4 bedroom home, huge fireplace, 2,800 sq ft, covered porch on 3 sides, hot tub out back but we extended the covered porch out a section in back so the porch roof was above hot tub but it was still outside, no sides etc.
Being that Iām older now, this was long ago and we were in the southeast, out in the boonies as we were 30 mins south of the city. It was cheaper. Besides the 40 acres only being $20K, our nice home was only $135K to have built.
Even with all my ex-wife did, she wasnāt able to take away the pride I felt about what we accomplished doing all of that.
We only lived in it 4 years. We had a difficult choice to make. We loved it, planned to stay there forever, we had 1 child by then (I just didnāt know he wasnāt my bio child until well after the divorce) and our 2nd child was born just before we moved away.
I was offered a great position for a lot more money (my raise was a 72% raise at the new company down in Texas).
My wife and I talked and we decided weād take that offer so we sold our home and moved off.
We did make a nice chunk of money selling the home and the land so that was nice.

Iāve had numourous outdoors adventures. And like others said it can be amazing for just the risk factor of being caught. I have had a couple of experiences where people walked up on me and my partners in crime. Three times while spanking, and once having sex.
But yoiu do have to know your surroundings and if they are easily monitered or in sight lines . But it can be fun and exciting, but safteyn and awareness are the keys.

I see your point, no we want to be spontaneous and weāve been to a few woods ājust for a walkā we donāt want nothing local as itāll be too close to home if we did get caught
