Pegging can be wonderful for both parties but talking to a fellow female I recommend a good harness first for you as you will have to wear it and you do not want it to cut in while playing
Second - choose a thinner dildo to start and possibly get a very slightly wider one as you may want to change up during play

If he’s not had anything else up there apart from your finger then I’d suggest maybe trying out an anal starter kit so he can have an explore himself and get used to it while also opening him up for pegging.
