Ok, So while there are plenty of other threads related to this, I thought it would be kinda cool to put this up as a way to encourage confidence, pride, interest and less taboo on the subject, Specifically for us blokes.

It's a huge step for a man ( straight in this case - NO OFFENCE towards anyone here who is gay or bi!!!.... Myself and the OH are working towards it too. Just now our main holdup is deciding whether we buy a functional and cheap strapon, or invest in something more comfortable and long term that provides more options. Would you care to share what toy you intend to use?

We're both keen for it though, I myself had my first pegging experience some years back. Had tried light anal play alone but the partner wanted to really take it further as she had found a lot of guys really enjoyed it once they relaxed and got over the initial idea.

As a woman, I would urge any man who is curious about this to speak to their other half.

We have been into this for about 12 years now and we think it's something all men should try because the orgasm is so very different to the one caused from any other type of sex.

I'm glad that the whole "it's gay" or "it's messy" objection has very much subsided over the years (though some of our American cousins seem to have a way to go yet in this area).

I was disappointed in the selection of the name pegging (we had been enthusiasts some time before that happened) - BoBing (from the video "Bend Over Boyfriend") was commonly used before and seemed better, though my love of puns made me hope that Bonking (bonk being knob backwards) might be chosen despite the existing connotations for the word.

My guess is that it's rather more common than is popularly believed. Madonna's strapon purchase might have been a joke but it must have set quite a few couples thinking.

The "equipment" has certainly evolved in recent years so that the pegger can expect to get some physical reward for all her effort. Hopefully strapons will become as common as vibrators and lube in the average toy chest.

Ok so I'm 34 and happily married to a Big Beautiful Woman. Our sex life has always been very vanilla - we have however used sex toys and the odd pair of handcuffs and/or blindfold on occasion. I fussed over how and when to ask and in the end just picked a quiet moment when she wasn't doing anything important (interrupting my wife while she is reading a book is a serious mistake!) and just asked if we could try it.
