Yes, the act itself is largely considered submissive (unless of course you're on top and in the driving seat), but I don't think acting out a fantasy can ever be submissive. The very fact that you are comfortable enough with both your sexuality and your desires to tell your partner what you want is hugely empowering. You are taking control and ensuring you get what you crave.

I really don't buy into the whole “the penetrated is the submissive one” idea. There is no doubt it can take time to get used to the strange sensations involved. Wearing a butt plug for increasing intervals helps train the brain that having something up there does not mean you need the loo. Once that is sorted there is still a big difference between having a butt plug in there which allows the anus to close up to a great extent and having a dildo up there which doesn't. You need to get used to the sensation of being held open for a long time AND having it thrust in and out. Eventually the pleasurable sensations take over and, as many on here will attest, it is well worth all the trouble but don't expect to have mind-blowing orgasms the first few times you do it.

I reckon missionary is the best but you need lots of support under your bum to get you to the right height for your girlfriend to penetrate you. This usually means that your legs are so high up gravity is helping hold them out the way. We used to use a strap that went over my shoulders that had foot-holds so that I could 'assume the position' but be completely relaxed but we don't seem to need it these days.
