❗ PSA - unnecessarily graphic/erotic posts

Agreed @Calie

Follow the rules … or follow the path off the forum.

All i would say is, i understand the forum rules and accept them.
The alternative site is aimed at creating erotic literature.
It is still firmly moderated and holds to the values of LH.
The only real difference being, allowed a bit more licence in the terminology used in the creative writing.
No private one to one chat, no divulging personal details etc etc…
It is a fun site where the fantasy asoect is allowed to expand.
There are word games and general open chat sections.
If any LH member is interested, it is worth a look.

I only joined this forum because of the groups rules. I was on a popular bdsm site for 10 years in which I loved being involved in and I met many great people from it but when I fell pregnant nearly 3 years ago I decided that particular site no longer represented who I was anymore. I decided to delete my account and no longer take part in that community.
Fast forward 2 years now and I have a great partner and I still enjoy sex and talking about it but I didn’t want to be logging on to a site to see graphic and over the top sexual pictures, writings. I also didn’t want an inbox full of men and seedy messages.
I’m glad I found this forum and for the rules are just what I’m after

Sorry for necroing an old post but somehow it appeared before me and I thought it was interesting. Besides. I know you’re all gagging for my opinion.

I think the way LH would see it is that the site is first and foremost a shop. A business with a brand to maintain. The forum is really a nicety for us and while fostering a community will always be to their benefit, its just an addon and if it’s seen to negatively impact their brand then its value and existence would be brought into question.

LH’s brand is not about smut, porn or erotica. Yes they sell sex toys but there is a distinct and important difference and they go to great lengths to maintain that. I can see exactly why they wouldn’t want their brand to be ‘tainted’ and these days I suspect they’re walking a very fine line, what with the stupid laws being enacted.

If Reddit can require age verification then it could happen here if we’re not careful.
