You know when I saw it was from HM revenue and customs I was quite excited I thought that I would be getting some money back which would be perfect for Christmas because flat broke isn’t an understatement but seeing that that put me in a right mood

shite , my OH does not work we have four kids, we were told that last year she was I ever paid £3500 and would no get anything what do ever this year and maybe next year? It happen once before same thing then we had a letter telling us that they got it wrong and they were paying her (us) £2800 so when they did we drew the lot out and spent it in on 2 holiday and small car ? I hope you get it sorted out hun and you get something before Christmas @Orgasm_Chaser

It’s unbelievable how rude some people are at times. Something that annoys me is when people say they’ll ring you back or message you about something and they don’t ! Oh and the amount of people that walk towards you on the pavement two abreast and expect you to walk in the kerb rather than make the tiny effort for one of them to walk behind the other for the few seconds that it takes to pass by!
Obviously it’s not such a problem recently because people will walk in the road rather than get too close to anyone on the pavement due to social distancing!

Yeah it’s so selfish , people simply are too concerned with themselves rather than thinking of others! I haven’t got young kids but I still don’t want to be walking in the road if I can avoid it.

Why is it so difficult to make yourself talk slowly?! I’ve tried recording my presentation 5 times and every time it’s too short, 7 minutes, then 8 and I’ve just got it to 9. I need to reach 10 minutes so time for another go 
@Ace12345 I talk too quickly - I think the nerves of giving a presentation make it worse!
It might help to imagine someone elderly sitting at the back and taking notes. Focus on projecting your voice and speaking slowly to help them.

More of a self-directed rant this time, wishing I was more well adjusted or that this didn’t bother me but just having a shit day stuck in my own thoughts.
I stopped talking to my toxic ex a few months ago after he continually let me down, we just weren’t working as friends after breaking up so I cut him off completely.
We have a few mutual friends but because the ex lives outside of our local area, with lockdowns, this hasn’t been an issue until today.
Today, him, his new girlfriend and 4 of my good friends (including my housemate) all spent the day together and I have felt SO left out. I could have gone but truly don’t want to be near him or meet the girl he left me for either.
Wish they saw him for who he is so they could understand why I cut ties with him. He gaslighted me and was manipulative, this is the same with our pals, I keep coming across as the bad guy which is so frustrating. It’s very easy to label a girl who has been cheated on as a “psycho ex” out to ruin his next relationship and friendships so I’m having to just stay away and watch from the sidelines so as not to come across as a bitch.
All in all just feeling bitter he hurt me so badly, cheated with at least 7 women (that I know of), used me, tried to control me, toyed with my feelings for 2 years and has come away on top where I’m here sad and single with trust issues coming out of my ears. I’d just like some kind of karmic redemption but the world doesn’t work that way. I can’t expect our friends to choose sides, just wish things weren’t complicated and cutting ties meant I never had to even hear about him again, not see photos of him and the new gf on my social media.

@VanillaWithSprinkles sadly some “friends” can’t see the real things in life. Those “friends” are not real friends. Sometimes in life we find people who we just click/vibe/resonate with. It is these same people who are your tribe. Stick with those people and not the other lot. Oneday the karma bus will pay your ex a visit. I dont know when this will happen but have faith in the universe ok.
As for all the rude people in society and more so at Christmas time, stop being assholes and rude. Be polite with everyone and if you can’t do this go eat a bowl of dicks.
I hope all the UK and European members are keeping safe. Please stay safe too. Ok ! If a convict country like Australia can get through this, you can too.
