I try and compliment both men and women on their choice of lingerie. Hats off to all who post pictures, they are all appreciated

Even in the early days of the forums beginning there was a lot more men appreciating the women’s pictures. I agree though it does seem it’s got worse, I like giving 
on pictures to give everyone the good feeling of them looking good male or female males wearing women’s lingerie etc… It’s all about being positive to others as you don’t know what they think of themselves.

Yeah absolutely @teacake - I fully understand that more men are going to compliment women, but having read every comment from the now closed thread and being a new member myself, I can see the difference between the two.
I really hesitated putting my OP because I really didn’t want to offend any body who was part of the older thread and still active.
I just found it strange and frustrating seeing a group of people who was constantly giving compliments, backwards and forwards, now not bother for new members joining.
The question I asked myself was why, why are things now so different. What stopped long time members, loyal forum members, dropping comments of support and boosting confidence.
Something changed 
I’m glad you made it maybe you will get some answers. I don’t think anyone will get offended as it’s a good question.

I just don’t tend to visit that thread, I used to but haven’t done in a long time.
My rant is blatant Xmas TV ads being on already 
go away! They are only acceptable in December, and that’s purely because I can’t really argue with them being on then 
I do watch streaming or recorded shows to avoid them, but I also watch live TV.

I try to avoid ads as much as I can. I dread the tv shows when they come that talk about you top Christmas TV ads of the 2020’s.

Frustrated that it’s been four weeks since I did my shoulder in trying to ride hubby and it’s still not right. It’s not even pain now, it’s weakness and numbness in my fingers. I’m treating it as a pinched nerve with painkillers, heat and nerve flossing exercises, but I want better now - I have things I need to do!

I like Christmas but I like it to begin in December not October! I dislike ads anyway, that’s why I also record everything so I can speed through them.

I used to like it but working retail killed it for me. I’m better now than I used to be but still a grinch

Now I quite like the Christmas adds. I loved the one with the boxer dog and the trampoline.
Is it me or are people getting more and more self centred, rude and angry lately? I don’t know if it’s social media/phone obsession, cruel backstabbing tv shows as entertainment, violent computer games etc but there seems to be an undercurrent of hatred and rage out there. Oh for the days of civility and kindness. It makes me want to go and live on a desert island.

You are not wrong . I think there is a lot of credit ( at least here in the US ) going to the media , including social . I would guess 95% have zero idea why they are mad . They may spew hate and when asked exactly what was bothering them , they often can’t tell you . When I am out shopping I often try and make people smile and or laugh . I often “preach” asking people why is everybody so angry ? Life is much better when we smile , are considerate of others . I even tell them criminals are evil , no matter skin color . Two groups across the world , good people and criminals . After my speech I have had several young ladies ask if they could give me a hug . So much of their anger and hate are based on lies and misinformation . Please think for yourself , often requiring investing some time to find the truth . Will , wish we could get together for a pint one day .

I work in retail so I see it daily, with certain colleagues and during the small amount of time i’m on the shopfloor and on my drive to and from work, and in the news.

Will , I had been thinking about all the hate and anger over here . I just did some quick research and oddly enough the internet has a lot of info , much of it incorrect . I followed much of the events that helped build up false hate . Over here we refer to what used to actually be news as " Lame stream media " . Not that many years ago they often reported the whole story . The one sided and often distorted " reporting " really kicked in about 17 years ago . I had to really dig to find out what actually happened during many events . Many people do not have the knowledge or interest to find out the truth . It scared me that in the future people will not actually be able to find out what really happened in many world events . As a German leader many years ago discovered , control information and you can control the people . Rant off .

I agree, I try and read/watch news from various sources as we have left and right wing biased media and news outlets over here. With a large dose of cynicism I read between the lines and make up my own mind.
I know Trump is an arsehole, but the supposedly unbiased BBC edited a speech of his to make it look like he’d said something he hadn’t. So you really can’t trust any news source.
Regarding the seeming rise in self centred people. Just leaving work, people don’t/won’t give way or signal even on the car park, and a 5mph speed limit is often disregarded despite pedestrians being about. What is SO urgent on a Sunday morning?
On Wednesday due to stupidly placed temporary traffic lights the car park and surrounding road was gridlocked at 11am! I am sitting waiting for someone to let me into the traffic when a young woman from 2 cars behind taps my window and tells me I need to push my way into the traffic! I tell her that as the traffic is literally bumper to bumper, and the drivers are wilfully looking straight ahead avoiding eye contact cos they don’t want to let anyone in, it’s impossible and that i have been driving for 45 years and don’t need telling how to drive! Fortunately a kind driver did let me in a few minutes later, but it’s an example of people’s selfishness that the majority wouldn’t give way, and the needless anger of someone without the patience to wait their turn. She’d just done a bit of shopping, I’d done an 8 hour shift starting at 2.45am yet I was the patient one! Grrrrrrr!

As far as the impression you have of the President , you have been misled by the media . He is about the first candidate in many years that campaigned on doing a number of things . He is working through exactly what he said he would do and 80 million voters wanted . He tried to do them during his first term , but what we refer to as "The Swamp " kept him from doing much of anything . He is about the last chance of saving our country from the left . The last almost president did a whole lot of damage . The no kings protesters - rioters were about 250 years late . LOL , the brain washed here are amazing they do not know history . Oh well , we will see if we recover .

Well, a couple of the top people at The BBC have resigned over the Trump falsification issue. There’s been a lot of dodgy stuff happening at the BBC over the years.

Interesting that over here , paid protesters are protesting / rioting at ICE centers collecting illegal immigrants . I see many people in Belfast decided to get rid of the places the government was housing the same . Funny how many that follow the non news , allegedly news stations , believe the mis information without question .
