Lovehoney Powerful Pocket Vibrator

A lot of buzz for your buck

I’ve been wanting a Pocket Rocket for a while but somehow always forgot to “add to basket” before. BIG MISTAKE. This toy is a must!

Reasons why you NEED it:

It may be small but it is very powerful. I found that to begin with it was better to hold above my clitoris and press down as I got closer as I can sometimes be over-sensitive.
It is discreet. For such a powerful bullet I was impressed at how quiet it is.
It takes 1 AA battery - very convenient and easily sourced. Battery life is also good with this toy too.
It’s great for a couples toy. My partner enjoyed the feel of it on his head, and pressed between us it was great at stimulating my clit during sex and did not get in the way.
It’s vaguely innocuous looking. If you happen to leave your Rocket out family/friends won’t be any the wiser, unless they happen to be particularly well acquainted with sex toys!
It’s super cheap! What have you got to lose?!

Tips and Tricks:

It feels great pressed into the ‘Venus mound’ before direct clitoral stimulation.
My OH enjoyed the buzz of this on his balls and perineum - it can be a great little starter toy if your man is unfamiliar with vibes.
This is a great alternative to a vibrating cock ring. Personally I prefer it as some vibe rings can actually get in the way during sex, but holding this down the length of my body I got a great amount of stimulation without any ‘obstruction’ so to speak!
Used during sex my partner could feel the vibrations while inside me and this intensified the experience for us both.

Lovehoney Mains Powered Wand

It doesn’t leave my bedside

So from the outset, let me say that I have wanted a wand for over a year, so I eagerly awaited the arrival of mine. Sadly my postman is great at “ringing and running” so the morning this arrived I found myself running down the road barefoot with nowt but a dressing gown on!

After ambushing the postman I came home and tore open the box. There was a faint plasticky smell, but nowhere near as strong as I’ve had with other toys - certainly not something that would put me off. The wand itself is very large (I will add pictures for scale), when I first plugged it in I scrolled the wheel a tiny bit, and laughed as it was quite weak… I then scrolled up… and up… and up… this toy is insanely powerful! The range of speeds is amazing, and I always find myself marvelling at how much more I have to scroll to get to full power.

So after a week or two of fully testing out this toy here’s the pros and cons that my partner and I have found:

Pros:

It is seriously powerful, I’d never felt anything like it before, I couldn’t take the full speed until I’d warmed up with lower ones for quite a while. However for those of you worried you might be too sensitive, the scroll wheel means that you have full control of the power. It starts out low and rumbly, which is really nice.
It is a great couples toy. My OH loved using it on me during foreplay as he had control of the power, and I think this could be even better if I had been tied up. It is also really good for clitoral stimulation during sex when you are in a position which gives you room to use the wand (e.g. doggy, reverse cowgirl).
The scroll wheel allows for huge amounts of control, and this is what really sets this wand apart from many others, which may only have 2 speeds!
The vibrations really travel well, I can press this to my Venus mound, and still feel the vibrations on my clit, and all down the rest of my vulva.
I used this by myself with the Lovemoiselle Aveline ceramic dildo. Pressed into the base of the dildo I could feel the intense vibrations inside and out. It has a similar effect during sex, turning my partners penis into a real life vibrator.
The massages! This is after all what wands were designed for. Ours does not leave our bedside table for this reason. The vibrations go really deep into your muscles, relieving any pain or tension; and the neck of the wand is incredibly flexible, so it can get into every curve of your body.
During massage I put the wand against my partners bum, and he actually really enjoyed the feeling - so despite a few years of telling me he doesn’t want me going near his prostate, we’ve just ordered some anal toys.
Mains powered means I’m never going to run out of batteries at an important time.
Considering how powerful the wand is I’m impressed that it isn’t louder. It could be masked with medium volume mood music.
It is incredibly sturdy, I can see this bad boy lasting me years!

Cons:

The scroll wheel is perhaps a tad too loose, and can easily be knocked just as you’re getting to the crucial moment!
The wand is very thick, so can get in the way during sex depending upon the position you’re in.
The ridges on the head of the wand can be quite difficult to clean as they are very tightly spaced.
An extension cable might be necessary for those whose bed/sofa/dining table is quite far away from a plug socket, however my partner and I have found it an ample length, reaching to the other side of our double bed. We do have a socket right next to us however.
You need to be careful while giving a massage with this wand on high, as if you place the wand directly on the bone it feels very strange, and can be painful.

To conclude, I really do think everyone needs one of these, it’s not just for the single girl, but makes a great couples toy too. The massages are amazing, and on top of this the packaging mentioned some LH wand attachments in the pipeline - I can’t wait!
